Because it’s fun as someone who plays on MG when weird people invite you to a discord call because they assume your female only to hear a deep manly voice as you watch them freak out momentarily and then leave as quick as they can.

Probably because all the robes in this game are still very flat and conform to our character’s bodies until just below the hips, and most of the female models are made to be on the sexy side.
I’d like to get some proper robes and dresses that flare out at the bottom.
and some trenchcoats. We need some of those.

Hilarious. Gotta love when they assume. While I know many women who do play WoW, I never make an assumption on actual gender of the player.

during my time on classic there was a guy who played a female, first time hearing his voice in the guild disc he had one of the deepest voices i have ever heard… it was so bassy and deep it was hilarious… he was also in the military. great guy, good times.

While I haven’t ever done it, I don’t really have an issue with those that do. It is a bit odd when they carry on like a woman, when you know for a fact that they are a dude.
And then there’s me. I play both.
I have the dreaded meme of a race/class combo. I don’t think we need to say what that meme is. I also have a female gnome, a female worgen, a female draenei … too lazy to check the genders on all my toons. Eating a snack right now. Food comes first.
