At what level of play do they love it?
The only DHs that I know that say they like it are the ones who dont main Havoc anymore.
Dont get me wrong, its a cool idea to have a buff created by movement. It would be a better buff if it increased fury generation or gave a stacking haste buff though. The flat damage is boring.
For the min-maxers in the crowd its frustrating when you need to re-up the buff but its inefficient or ill-advised to use a movement ability. IE mythic Terros, Kurog Grimtotem during intermission, Hyrja in HoV during storm, etc.
For the less sweaty peeps it doesnt effect gameplay at all. No big numbers, no cool visual effect. They dont care.
So I believe what most people are saying is that it negatively effects gameplay for those that do care. So it should be changed, removed,.or replaced.

I don’t like it since pressing Fel Rush without Unbound Chaos or pressing Vengeful Retreat just feels bad. I am not a fan using multiple GCDs that deal no damage to maintain a buff that lasts only 4 GCDs. Also displacing me that may put me in a weird position only using two GCDs in a row because the only best way to use VR sometimes is away from the mob because the amount of swirlies there are. The only time I like pressing VR is when my back is against a slope/stair and I barely move.

Are you aware that you’re using fel rush for momentum yeah?
DH is GUTTED the class is garbage now its’ like blizzard dont’ know how to balance anything LIKE what did DH need a NERF when everything is buffed? so ughhh
You have 2 fel rushes. it’s a 10s CD, youre kind of overreacting here.
And with momentum you use it for a damage boost, so dodging costs you not only dps because you have to move out of range, but also because you lose uptime on your buff.
Not saying it’s impossible, just saying it’s a horrible design on top of an already hectic gameplay.
But they can just play Glaive Temptest. There is another option, but they don’t want to 2% DPS loss.
Glaive tempest is anti-synergy with the Initiative build, feels like an awkward button to press.
you have 2 charges of fel rush, you can 100% just proc momentum with ubc/when your about to do big damage and still be fine. since trying to have high uptime in momentum is stil la sub .8% dps increase overal. your big time overreacting. dead dps= 0 dps, the sooner people realize that, the sooner momentum clicks
Don’t need to be dead dps if they stop adding terrible affixes such as entangling
I don’t like momentum because I am bad at it. BFA and SL (except for Sanctum) demonic rotation for havoc was really simple and having to swap to a much harder build feels bad. I ain’t asking for it to be thrown in the trash or anything like that - I agree that harder playstyle should reward higher damage. Just my 2 cents on why I can’t stand it and I am sure I ain’t alone.

Momentum is overrated. It’s 3% damage increase on AOE if you play perfectly like the simcraft APL (nobody does).
The no mover is stronger in single target and easier to execute perfectly.
All of these momentum Andies are just parroting what they heard other people say.
Hated momentum at first, but since I play it all the time, I don’t really have a problem with it anymore. I have no problem topping dps meters in M+ with momentum, even on the bosses. Raiding is a totally different story.

I find it works well with each other. VR into GT would boosts GT damage up while you do you other abilities.
How do people enjoy playing momentum on fights like Wise Mari?
I feel like it’s just asking for death.
How do people enjoy this in general? If you want to properly play it you have to keep track of mob swings because otherwise your Iniative will not work as something hits you first A single GCD issue can mess up the rotation
