Why do casuals care?

They are obviously clueless.

It’s kind of like a company going we are going to make your life easier by giving this task 3 extra steps

Spoken like a non-pvper.

Coming from the guy that doesn’t understand what an RPG is, I’ll take that as a compliment.

Again, Fortnite is thataway -->

Yes. I want to be stuck to one, but they shouldn’t affect gameplay in any way. Covenant abilities should be talents, legendaries shouldn’t be covenant locked, soulbinds should be an essence-like system.

Professions used to be hell to change. Changing talents was quickly unaffordable even if you clicked the wrong one you were screwed. Reputations that made other reps hostile etc. WoW has always been a casual game but not nearly as bad as it is currently.

Why would I go play fortnite? I am playing a COMPETITIVE online game now.

You want it to not be, you think I am making it that way. However Blizzard giving Millions of Dollars in your Sub money every Blizzcon to Arena Tournament winners begs to differ.

As a casual I do not care.

Which somehow is the problem?

We are far more numerous than the try hards yet not organized or caring enough to effect the discussion.

I’ll be far busier lobbying for 1-per account any race/faction, mechagnomes getting double jump glide with antigrav boots, a wvwvw zone like gw2, armor dyes, and generally being upset about alliance allied races while im parked in Boralus on my longboi.

Lol WoW was never competitive. Blizzard limping an in-house tournament in their garbage con every year is as pathetic when EA tried doing the same for Battlefield 4.

What a clown.

If you’re an organization granting power though, you’d want to be careful who you trusted with said power, wouldn’t you?

Professions didn’t impact your class as well as Covenants.

Talent swapping only costed gold and was gated purely by how much gold you were willing to spend.

There are only a few examples of this.

Centaur clans in Desolace. The differences between the two were like a couple different level 30/40 quest rewards.

Steamwheedle and Pirates. The difference between the two was the convenience of accessing the cities vs a Hat and a Title.

Aldor and Scryer. The difference between the two was pre-raid gearing, a shoulder enchant and a couple recipes.

Frenzyheart and Oracles. The difference between the two was a pet and a chance at a mount.

None of these are anywhere near the level of impact that Covenants will have on you in Shadowlands.

Because you want no character progression. You don’t want the RPG aspects that come with an RPG, you want a game you can log in and do whatever with no character progression.

This isn’t that game, especially not anymore. Thank god.

That does not make it any less competetive. There is competitions. With millions in prize money. That makes the Arena system competive.

Raid WF and SF ect are also competetive things players can do. The beauty of an MMO is you are free to play casually or to be competive. Where Fortnite all there really is is competive.

What you think is really not relevant, the second mkney is on the table, its competive. Does not matter where that money came from. Also outside sources also pay these competive people in the form of sponsorships ect.

Is that why Blizzard removed the BoE benefits from all the professions since the ‘hardcore’ had conniptions about them being unfair? And don’t even get me started on the racial bonuses.

This is an MMORPG, not just an MMO.

This is an MMO. There is no difference, ALL MMOs are MMORPGs its just that the RPG part kind of goes out the window with the MMO part.

You guys seem to be confused. League of Legends and Fortnite are NOT MMOs.

Be gentle. He thinks its an abbreviation of an abbreviation.

You have absolutely no idea what you’re even talking about. It’s almost amusing, tbh.

I dont think that, the world thinks that.

You guys are a minority within a minority that doesn’t understand what an MMO is. Go watch some more Sword Art Online.

Pretty sure you’re an extreme minority thinking that all MMO’s are MMORPG’s. lol
