Why do Alliance players want Horde races?

If they’re still humans then why was the alliance so hell bent on killing them?

I’m not a fan of foxes either. Just not my cup of tea. And judging my time online as of late, the feeling is more mainstream than these forums would have you believe. The foxes were fun for a short while, but a lot of players I know are back to what they were playing before.

I’m not sure why alliance players aren’t happy with their race selections. Worgen and Dark Iron Dwarves are some of the coolest races in game. I play them myself on occasion. But if they’re unhappy, there is nothing stopping them from creating a new character. There’s no rule that says they HAVE to play only one faction. That’s on them, not the game.

Listen here, the only red race I want on the Alliance side is red Draenei females with the six pack abs.

Difference is the Horde doesn’t have to faction change to play with variety in their races.

Yeah forgot aside from Worgen and Draenei, that the Alliance has a vast variety of races to choose from other than “varying heights of a regular human person”.

In a competition of “how anthropomorphic are our races”, the Alliance takes the cake and the restaurant you’re eating the cake in, because 80% of our races are literally just “human” with varying heights and accessories.

Meanwhile Horde gets Minotaurs, literal zombies, voodoo tusk people, blue moon elves and red sun elves, small green people, small hairy people. You can’t honest to god sir there and tell me we have similar variety to the Horde.

Don’t really care too much about Allied races. Some might like them, some might not.

As for me, my only ‘‘complaint’’ is I wish the Void Elves had a ‘‘No Tentacle’’ hair option.

I’ve seen many Horde people want the Dark Irons, and even try to make lore justifications on personality of the DI’s to say they fit the Horde better. shrugs

I’ve always played both sides.

Same here. I think it’s the people that dont play both sides that always get on the faction hate thing.

Wolf and goat being our most diverse races by far.

Still leaves the question why you have to steal Horde races for it. I mean, the Sethrak would have very different, but I think the number of posts crying over High Elves exceeds the number of posts for Sethrak.

Dunno where you or they got this idea, when the High Elf request is easily divorced from “copy-pasting” blood elves onto the Alliance “again”(Void elves with literal Blood Elf model). And have been by large requested with Kul Tiran and Zandalari differences as to not have the exact same look and mode as Blood Elves.

Besides, High Elves are an Alliance faction, just because Blood Elves were High Elves doesn’t mean High Elves like to be called that and are associated with the storylines of the Horde Blood Elves, in WoWs story thus far, they aren’t.

No. Horde can keep them. The Alliance doesn’t need more elves. As it is, Stormwind’s sheltering a bunch of night elf refugees and their leader isn’t even on speaking terms with the King of Stormwind.

No, we’ll keep the gnomes, Horde can have ALL the elves, far as I’m concerned.
