Why Dishonorable Kills failed at their intended purpose

My question is whether or not you’ve read the first post. Are you able to answer?

Thoroughly.

For example the claim that we cannot just say “Vanilla had them” has been completely debunked because Blizzard aren’t cherry picking, they are building 1.12.

Have you read the other 500 posts? I have.

Better head over to your buddy Lunni’s new thread, where they are crying about summoned infernals in lowbie zones. I tried the “It was in 1.12 and ion said it was going to be 1.12/2006, and #nochanges tact but I don’t think it is gaining traction.

Already did. Summoning Infernals is perfectly fine.

How is squashing world pvp not a good reason to remove dishonorable kills?

I’m genuinely curious. I understand where people are coming from with regards to changing Classic WoW and picking and choosing what suits them, but on the same token–would you also be against the removal of DHKs on PvP servers only?

How about making civilians untargetable, or invulnerable like the ones in the troll village outside of the Valley of Trials?

Funny how the very first post has multiple arguments for removing DHK’s, yet you claim that you’ve read all 500 posts without finding a single one. Trolls be trolling.

I’m not a proponent of picking and choosing what suits me. Blizzard is recreating 1.12 in 2006.

I can’t think of a single element of the game that they’ve said they will permanently use from an earlier patch of Vanilla instead of 1.12. Content Patch progression leads towards 1.12, it doesn’t go back.

I hoped someone on the forums would find as much humor in this as myself

Funny how the other 500 posts contain multiple rebuttals to every one of those “supposed compelling arguments”, but you can’t seem to find them.

I proposed making it so they’re not aoeable, i think that’s the best compromise. I.E you can only hit them if you’d really want to and try, a AOE like blizzard arcane explo, whirlwind cleave wouldn’t phase them.

Pretty much this.

Why so rigid on the picking and choosing argument then?

If something is obviously unpopular and ineffective in its implementation–why keep it in if it stifles community interaction and player involvement?

Mate, all I have to do is quote you.

To which my response was:

The topic is whether or not there are arguments for removing DHK’s, which is absurd because the first post is about those very arguments for removing DHK’s. Thankfully everyone is free to see your post history. Even if you edit your posts, these quotes will remain.

I can call the sky a potato, doesn’t make it true.

You cry “Troll!” because someone points out the flaws in your argument. Its as bad as the Guild Bank supporter suggestion that anyone disagreeing with Guild Banks should make their own thread to discuss not including Guild Banks.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the fire. If you can’t make a coherent argument that isn’t easily dissembled, don’t cry troll.

You could make the argument that DHKs do none of those things, and that they actually require players to coordinate and plan their attack instead of simply not pvping out of fear of DHk.

Or the argument that Blizzard isn’t trying to fix Classic PVP.

Not to be that Paladin, but DHKs are about reducing the killings of quest givers. Killing the lowbies while they try to quest is a different beast, and one I very much like to pet.

But you do not understand, it is only compelling if eloraell agrees it is compelling, which would run contrary to his/her/it’s troll.

I totally think dhks should be removed or revamped but that’s the point… they aren’t being removed or revamped because they weren’t removed or revamped in vanilla.

No, the topic is a call for Blizzard to remove DHKs. Did you even read it?

This is not a theoretical discussion, its a request to remove DHKs. Please use reading comprehension at an adult level before claiming any sort of authority.
