Why did you PreOrder? (please read before posting)

Shadowlands looked uninteresting to me. I bought it anyway, though I did not pay them up front, months in advance. Idk how any of you can be that stupid, but that’s another question.

Dragonquest looks even less interesting to me. I don’t care for WoW dragons, or their lore. So right now it’s a hard pass. When we get closer to being able to buy a physical copy, then I will give it another look.

I knew going in I would not like SL. I have fun with the dungeons and raids but the rest of it’s a dumpster fire, IMO. So this time I will trust my gut reaction.

I got 2 copies one for my wife and one for me. I don’t care what others think or say. I can form my own opinions and thoughts.

Your problem is that you think that the big wigs are going to look at Diablo Immortal and say “Cool we made lots of money with this monetization strategy. Let’s just let that product sit over there and change nothing about how our other products operate” instead of something more like “How can we take this monetization strategy and apply it to these other games” because whenever people criticize a company for doing something they don’t like that is obviously financially driven other people are there to argue that companies are about making money so it makes sense that they did it. If you’re going to run with that logic than there’s no other real outcome other than applying Diablo Immortal lessons to other games.

And there’s also already a confirmed cash shop in Diablo IV by the way, and their language about it is that the shop is “anchored” around cosmetics, but the language is very specific and by the time we “see what happens” we’ll likely be seeing stuff available other than cosmetics. I really have no idea why you don’t think a Diablo game couldn’t possibly impact another Diablo’s game design. And where did M+ come from? Did it come from innovative design out of thin air, or was it based off D3 gameplay?

Plenty of us have been around long enough to have been saying that for a while or have heard others say that for a long time. We’re pretty tired of it.

It’s great that you’re enjoying the game, and want to keep playing so keep doing that if you’re enjoying it. I can’t really argue with you if that’s how you feel. I don’t think we need to doomsday prophesize about Dragonflight either, but the “wait and see” mentality is equally garbage.

Hardly play anymore as is. Probably wait until the first big patch is released before purchasing it. Learned my lesson a long time ago not to pre order/buy any Gizzard product until it’s been out several months lol. Am looking forward to wolk classic though.

I’ll be buying 6 tokens to purchase it.

I’m gonna wait until some of the alpha/beta reviews roll in.

Collector’s Edition has been preordered but I refuse to buy a second version just to play it “on time” if they fail to deliver. I still think that’s stupid that it’s their “fix” for getting the physical edition, but oh well.

Which of your mains did I hurt?

I’m going to get it but I’m not in a hurry tbh. There isn’t even a firm release date just an on or before date in the fine print. Either way I have time and I intend to buy the $90 one. I want to get it asap but as money forces me to wait currently, helps me realize I have plenty of time and no need at all to rush out and grab it.

Its really more about how long I play after the expansion comes out than anything else. Really really hoping for a good expansion but not even considering holding my breath. if its good Ill play for quite a while.

I plan to still play, but I don’t want to buy it right now. It’s cause I just don’t wanna lol :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I did but only for the cosmetics, was gonna buy the exp either way so…

I pre-ordered the physical Collector’s Edition as I always do, I plan on playing it and so will my wife, but she will want the digital version, so she typically waits later.

Not yet, but I will be closer to time. I don’t care about physical merch, so there’s no reason to really spend that money this far in advance for me.

That being said, Shadowlands sucked the big one and while I’m happy a new expansion is coming out, I don’t necessarily care all that much for dragons either, so I’m not feeling a ton of hype. They also haven’t provided a ton of information about the expansion yet, so I’m just kind of feeling like we’re in limbo waiting to hear what they’re doing that could be exciting.

I like that they’re changing up the talent trees and bringing back the style of the former ones, and it seems they’re doing some updates to professions which is sorely needed. I really hope that they add transmog for fishing poles… But in general, they’ve given us very little to go by at this point.

I bought the Basic Edition as a Hanukkah gift to myself. I’ll be 62 when release rolls around and I’m drifting into CRS (Can’t Remember Stuff) land so it’ll probably be a nice surprise for myself when SL ends.

No, I didn’t preorder.

The rewards are garish and leveling characters doesn’t take that long. I feel this way about most of the store items, and prefer to use mounts that come from in game activities instead because they carry more prestige than something that just says “I have disposable income”, turn off for me. I never use the free store mounts that came with my sub for this exact reason.

Not a given I will get it even on launch, plan to wait it out and see what people are saying about it.

Still waiting on the free 50k eternal orbs in D:I with the preorder deal.

Keep fighting the good fight, I wouldn’t object to 50k orbs.

I’m going to buy it with a Bnet balance from tokens, a week or so before launch, unless I get a sudden windfall.

No way I will preorder. Between Diablo Immortal and Blizzard’s recent track record, I have zero faith left in them.

It’s probably likely I’ll play the expansion, but I will wait and see how things turn out before that happens. This smells of a really bad cash grab, even more so than before. This to me is Blizzard milking its customer base with as minimal effort as possible for the most amount of $$$. But hey, I could be wrong. I’ll make sure I’m wrong though before I give them more money.

I’ll buy the epic version with tokens, after the token price drops back some. Because I have way more than enough gold to do so, and because if the xpac turns out to be another meh, I won’t need the gold any more anyhow.
