Why did we get Vulpera over Ogres?

Sadly ogres are not relevant in this bfa story, we will have more chances in the next expansion if blizzardplay the right cards;

there is some ideas here, but they can always bring new stuff.

I mean hopefully they add Ogres as a core race later on, but I can see why they added something with more variety to the Horde.

Yes, cute. Like my cat.

Not
whatever the internet draws. -eye twitch-

I think it’s because not that many want or would play ogres but more would probably play vulpera.

In time I think you’ll all get ogres, high elves, etc
because that’s easier for them to add as content.

Normal Humans are also part Vrykul, soo

Humans are descendants of them. Very very distant descendants at this point in time.

And no, that is NOT what they meant. KT are humans. Plain and simple. Literally says, “not intended to be a separate race.”

Because their cute and furry.

Of course they’re not separate, they interbred no problem. Technically Humans are just Vrykul with a curse.

Now you’re just making up stuff and twisting things to try to be right. And you’re not. Blizz shot down that theory long ago.

KT are simply humans. Period. End of story. No one interbred with anyone.

And humans are just cursed Vrykul. The interbred KT just have a little less of the curse.

Because Ogres as a playable race was the player’s idea.

Vulpera was the dev’s idea.

You don’t get what you want. You get what you are given.

Let me try this again, as per Blizz:

They.

Did.

Not.

Interbreed.

KT.

Are.

Just.

Humans.

Geebus, the headcanon around here and stubbornness. :woman_facepalming:t4:

I’m done talking to a wall.

Blizz didn’t say they didn’t interbreed. In fact, the statement that they aren’t biologically different is just an unsourced addition made on Wowpedia which wasn’t in any of the Blizzard interviews, and the statement that they aren’t a different race was in reference to the thin human model, not the playable Kul Tirans.

If you’re going to get all uppity at someone for “headcanon”, you should probably make sure you’re not just regurgitating someone elses’ headcanon first.

they are another breed of humans, clearly showed by their difference.

No. They aren’t. I’ll quote it again:

They are not intended to be a separate race, they are simply variants on Kul Tirans made because Blizzard wanted bigger and smaller models to fit the various NPC roles and add more flavor to the world. They are not biologically different from other humans.

And before I beat my head off this wall again, I’m going to mute this discussion for my own sanity.

You’re quoting something that Blizzard didn’t say. The bolded section is just something someone on Wowpedia edited in.

if you look t the original Q&A, they never said they are not biologically different, they said they didn’t intend then be a different(and this could mean they just end up being later on)

They said in other they are another breed of humans, i think it was with afrabiasi, i just don’t remember which one.

you know when they average is 8ft tall, and their characteristics and racials are different, you kinda know they are not the same thing, they are a variation whiting the race, some call subrace, like dogs

Because they would have to either rescale 80% of the Horde buildings because they wouldn’t fit through the doors or scale them down to a more manageable size. They chose to the second route but gave them to the Alliance in the form of tubby humans.

KT can not be the Gilnean AR because Gilnean without the Curse are not playable. Worgen are.

Barely any vulpera due to garbage racials and uselessness. Tons of Mechagnomes tho everywhere. Having one is more of a liability then good in party. Can’t wait to see all those tank gnomes being OP. FOR THE ALLIANCE!

For the same reason we got mechagnomes instead of High Elves, who even today still take part in Alliance operations.
