You didnt have repair bills. Absolute idiot. KSM 4 months into the season does not give you the right to speak especially when the people youre talking to got it week 1 or 2.

repair costs are through the roof. I thought 500 gold last expansion was insane and Iâm actually making slightly less gold then I did last expansion while having greatly increased repair bills. As a progressive raider this is hurting my wallet, and my guilds wallet greatly. Repair bills inflation needs to be backtracked heavily. Maybe starting with next tier. Full repair should not cost 2k, shouldnât cost 1k. Maybe cap it at 200 gold or so.

Iâve tragically been in other MMOs when that happened. Replace gold with âcreditsâ or whatever the local shineys are and that is pretty much word perfect.

I know when I was just playing woefully bad and kept dying I was paying a LOT more in repairs. But not as much right now, even though my Ilevel is higher.
Because someone is dumb enough to tell you that you âneedâ gold sinks because of âinflationâ.
Sadly these people have little to no understand of economics and keep spreading the wrong information. Inflation is the monetary expansion, that is, when the monetary authority prints money. WoW doesnât have monetary authority and thus there is no one printing money. Our gold drops naturally from mobs / chests or quests, and there is no measure of it.
Services provided by NPCs have increased drastically from DF (transmogs, repair) while the gold rewards / gold dropped from monsters/rewarded from quests hasnât increased to compensate it.

If you have a repair mount you should get discounts from them relative to their purchase price. Mammoth - 10% Yak/Grizzly - 20% Bruto - 40%

Gold WQs still work with alts. Ran 10 alts through the available ones this weekend and cleared nearly 85k. Did them while doing the weeklies. Although the treasures still are worth picking due to the mats, but youâll make more per hour just running the quests.
