I mean, I wasn’t trying to be rude and it’s basically impossible to determine someone’s tone from a line of text without something to indicate you are joking, but go off.
It would be great if that was the case but I think certain parts of the narrative is just beyond what the game can produce.
To tell the story of the novels, Blizzard would need to make full length CGI movies.
Like Bwonsamdi, Elune also has a boss. His name is Steve Danuser.
It’s all about Blizzard continuing to justify the subscription business model. The moment they end the story they lose a dedicated fan base. Not that they have ever given fans of high fantasy a real story to follow.
Cheers!
I thought it was because they were going to try to fit in a
“Nathanos my love”
moment once Sylvanas found out about him but I think the lead writer only thinks that kinda cringe is only ok for alliance characters.
Gods are shiftless creatures unworthy of veneration, that’s why.
Elune has Sylvanas on her friends list.
There’s evidence that Elune is in fact a Gemini. Can’t have Tyrande offing Elune’s darker twin now can we?
Ion is the common denominator in everything wrong with the current game.
Yeah….I really loved SYLVANNAS BANSHEE FORM!!! That flight animation was on point.
The non cinematic flight from Sylvannas looked like something that someone from a leggo movie would have created.
At the end wheb Sylvanas just flew off in the air, I shouted, “Ooh come on!!” It made me wonder if they added that little bit as some humor. Wow devs have shown some quirky humor over the years, from putting the Terminator arm in game to the Johnny Awesome mail quests to the dwarf npc in Legion named Hankerin Feranale its great!!
Elune was like dude this isn’t a kill steal?! Nope sorry girl we only kill when we can take it away from the hero in the last second.
Danuser wont allow anyone to harm his waifu
I just assumed she literally finally ran out of power after an expansion and some change of going hard with the power, and her Ultra Instinct against Jiren, I mean Sylvanas just finally gave out.
It’s not like power is infinite and she hasn’t exactly been holding out.
because whoever drafts the narrative for world of Warcraft since we killed sargeras wasn’t good enough to make B horror movies.
player- like bro none of these character choices make any sense
writer- yeah but the plot needs this to happen so it does…
I wonder if at any point while they were making the cutscene did anyone question whether a zombie could be asphyxiated?
like she’s dead her heart doesn’t pump her lungs don’t breathe but you’re going to choke her to death and she’s going to react like she can’t breathe? … weird
Because Elune read the Shadowland’s script and knew we needed Sylvanas later in the story.
(politely ignoring the obvious plot armor reasons)
The night warrior story seems to be about the power’s uncontrollable tendency to grow exponentially. Suddenly disappearing is a rather shocking twist. The fact that Sylvanas seemed unsurprized that it disappeared was also curious.
I lean towards the wild theory that Elune is actually a shattered world soul and the jailor’s plan is to release the dark side of her imprisoned in the Shadowlands.
Pretty sure its because her intentions were driven by revenge . But Tyrande looked really cool though
that’s unfortunate, because the only reason I’ve been tolerating this expansion is in the hope it’ll mean we’re finally done with her boring character.
Elune realized she was summoning her power out of rage or revenge. Trying to kill Sylvanas instead of trying to save her from her current evil.
