Why did Blizzard put us on a patch where Raids can be cleared by non60s?

oh and by the way its power, quins guild, currently gettn smoked in mc =)

This right here is what concerns me, personally. I get that we know the content like the back of our hands at this point, but to not have a suitable ramping up requirement prior to steamrolling it is rather like a wet fart.

I know, i was killing brain cells watching the stream earlier. “top flight” is a gross exaggeration. And just because one guild of exploiters is wiping doesnt mean the content hasnt been nerfed to hell.

Blizzard is already time gating content, what more do you want?

Funny how they wouldnt need so much time gating if they released raids with the proper stats/resistances.

What also bothers me is that they did not even betatest the endgame content. They simply did “Internal testing”. Had they allowed beta wide open with no level cap, and MC/Onixia were steamrolled in green-wearing sub-L60s within a week, perhaps it would have given them pause.

Had they decided to adjust druids to be optimal for raids, you would have celebrated it. I sense this is just another subject you are going to troll, as you have the AV threads, because you did not get your personal QOL wishes fulfilled.

Are you even playing classic, Zryus?

no clue whodafuq Zyrus is but I havent trolled anything here since i only recently got a character to above lvl 10 in order to post. I’m just a pissed off OG beta player from classic-wotlk that feels like Blizz could have done much better, but as usual, did the absolute worst.

There is a reason why p-servers on 1.12 buffed encounters. The game was nerfed too much at that time and Blizz could have learned from that. When random people applauded to 1.12 they thought of their p-server experience, not of otherwise undertuned/nerfed content.
1.12 no changes was about talents and bug fixes, not encounter difficulty.
People pushed to get old/difficult AV.
People pushed to get pre 1.12 threat.

How can anyone believe that people who actually wanted/want to play classic, want it to be 1.12 push over?

I’m apparently higher level than you in classic :stuck_out_tongue:

And you are right I always supported balance changes and I would have welcomed raid/dungeon balance along with class and itemization improvements. But we’ve known for a long time we were getting 1.12 with no balance changes to anything so it is what it is. Your random balance change wishes are no more relevant than anyone elses.

You already won with the artificial time gating.

yes, classic wow most hardcore mmo video game of all time. Blizzard killed classic with this patch inorder to boost sub numbers for BFA.Blizzaard let privates servers ill eagely exploit game and make a mockery of our video game for profit. Method full time gamers and couldnt get even in the raid. Wow?// that tells you something,… Me thinks classic dead in 2 months. failed experiment.

Private servers run their own setup, you getting the real classic experience you wanted that was never hard or challenging.

Jokes on you. I don’t have a brother.

The guild that just downed MC and Ony are an established vanilla private server guild who has probably done those raids a ridiculous amount of times, and is more familiar with the vanilla game play than most people, and the people who are 60 have had their leveling routes planned for months, so I don’t really think this is a valid argument.

Classic is not about raiding.

Cause its less work broski. People have been advocating the forums to not launch on 1.12 but ofc they got hated on by the “community” and flamed. They predicted this and it is exactly what happened. I mean its gonna even out in AQ but the damage has been done for MC/Ony/Bwl and any other instance up to this point.

And ye blizz could have implemented a system in which they released the original patches. It would have kept the game fresh and made the content harder. But 1.12 was the easy option with the least amount of effort on their side.

This isn’t an opinion, it’s historical. You’re as capable as anyone else of looking up the 1.12 patch notes from Vanilla (retail) and seeing which catch-up mechanics were put into that patch in preparation for the TBC expansion.

You’re 120 so I am going to make an assumption that you have at least played BFA. Catch-up mechanics in between major expansions and every major point release have been in the game since its launch and it’s strange that this would be news to a current retail player.

Cool tinfoil hat you got there…

Especially when none of them have even stepped foot in MC yet. Most of them have not been running this raid over and over again on private servers or planning out every little detail for the fastest possible clear. It’s going to be easy but I think many expecting they will do it as clean and effortlessly as APES are delusional. A few hours ago I saw some of the stream of StaySafe and Quinn69’s guild in MC and they wiped on Golemagg. I’m not saying those guys are the absolute best at the game or anything, but they are clearly better than most of the WoW playerbase. If they can wipe a time or two in MC, then I can easily see the average player needing better gear than greens to get through it.

So they could save face and say, “We told you so.”

Pettiness.
