Honestly I feel like 30-45 is the mindless dead grind point of Classic, so I’m honestly fine with with the acceleration.

March 5th is the 5th week of Phase 2. That being the midpoint of Phase 2 could mean that Phase 3 comes out any time in the latter half of April, for a 10 week phase just as long as Phase 1 was.

P2 just has barely anything to do. PvP Ranking is capped at 5 for some reason, which is laughably low. That’s one weekly reset to hit max rank.
STV is pretty fun, but there isn’t much to it. Leveling professions from 150 > 225 is quick and easy. Gnomer raid is alright and worth doing each lockout.
Other than that, there really isn’t anything else to P2.

Phase 4 launch is probably sods midpoint. Blizz said months ago 60 will be phased out like how era was. We get pvp rank 9 and MC/ony. Then rank 12 and bwl, then rank 14 and aq40. Pretty sure the classic raids mc-naxx will be just as long as 1-60 was, and they’re gonna be 20man.

I’m thinking P4 will be around July; leaving ~6 months to drip out MC, BWL, ZG, AQ20/40, and finally Naxx. Two months of each ‘tier’ (MC/BWL, ZG/AQ [20/40], Naxx) would probably be about right. – Like I said in another post, they might opt for 3-day resets for all raids with maybe the first two lockouts being 7-day.
I group ZG with AQ because they did say they wanted the catchup raids to have better gear. And it’s not exactly a ‘catchup’ if the raid released alongside a lower (ilvl) raid.
It should be 5 weeks, the shorter the better (just like my wife tells me).
In all honesty though, I prefer not to have prolonged leveling phases, lets get to the good loot/runes so we can see what our classes are supposed to feel like with our full kits/gear
People are already raid logging and you want the phase to go on another 2 months? lmao

Huh? Phase 4 will be MC20 and Kara 10. Then we will get ZG 20 and BWL 40 phase 5 both dropping tier 2 gear. Phase 6 AQ20 and 40 will both drop 2.5 quality gear. And lastly Naxx 40 and I ASSUME they will use the phase 5/6 time to make another 20 man raid to come out alongside Naxx. Nothing confirmed but that’s my speculation.
They did say they may revisit itemization. We could see T1 and T2 being combined (ilvl being the same). They may even normalize all the Tier Sets to the same ilvl. Simply to allow for more things to do; you don’t bother with MC, BWL, ZG, AQ20 (usually) when Naxx is out. – Hopefully all the drops in the raids will be normalized to the same ilvl. This way we get 6 raids to run at 60 instead of 1 per phase; maybe 2 if there’s something really good (ie DFT).
As for Kara Crypts…I wouldn’t get my hopes up. AFAIK, they never did any work beyond ‘making the area’. Which means they’d still need to come up with fights, mob placement, item drops, heck even where to put the instance portal.
What I could see them doing is Kara (TBC Kara) 10man, as I’m pretty sure the raid instance was in the 1.12.1 client; set to be released some months after Naxx, which probably would have yielded an artifact of Medivh that opened the Dark Portal and let us venture into Hellsfire Peninsula (cap still 60) leading up to an ‘Outlands Raid’ (HFP Citadel?).
The Crypts was just a misdirect…like they did with April Fools jokes. Remember the Bard? It was supposedly a ‘hero class’; they released DKs. Or the GearScore joke that saw you being phased? They released Phasing.
So Crypts is the joke, but the grain of truth is ‘Kara raid’.

They would not add the Dark Rider lore and push that to the forefront if it wasn’t building to something. In my opinion. It’s just too much of a jebait especially when Aggrend already mentioned Kara Crypts by name.
Well so far they haven’t actually added any new raids. Instead just repurposed existing instances.
Crypts would be a departure from that and would require adding a vestige in Era (ie the instance portal ‘wall’ we all run into).
And just because Kara didn’t originally have Dark Rider lore doesn’t mean it couldn’t be added; probably would be Attumen as some kind of ‘leader’ of the Dark Riders.
Now what they might be able to do is have us enter Kara normally but instead of putting us at the normal entrance, warp us to somewhere in the animal quarter, with a new door that leads to Crypts. This would let them ‘do what ever’ with an instanced version of the overworld Crypts without needing to touch how it looks in Era. 
this… i know you SoD players like to cope, but cmon. it’s pretty obvious phase 2 is a fail 
radical changes like immediate +200% exp to max lvl do not happen just because.

Phase 2 is only suppose to last till the spring.
The first day of spring is Mid March so I would probably guess April 4th as our start date for Phase 3. I believe they said this phase would only be for two months. Could be wrong though.

afaik they announced phase 2 will be longer than phase 1 like a week before p2 launched. Is there any hard evidence this has changed outside overanalyzing semantics?

They don’t do things until they do them. They didn’t change talents in phase 1, until they changed them in phase 2
I don’t think they pull BC content into Vanilla. Pretty sure it’s new content - like they said they wanted to add all new raid content at Blizzcon.
Because the player population is dropping off a cliff.
