…Okay, so what’s your point here?

It literally does not affect you if the raids are made easier mate. Just because you subjectively think it does, doesn’t make it so.

I said “Objectively speaking, it doesn’t affect you”, and considering how … honestly, elitist for the lack of better word… your being here, i am not out of line in saying that, considering how your making it about how you feel about it…

As somebody who does mog hunt and such, it does affect me and others to have legion be brutal to get though, even though i’ve made the first boss of ToS, i just checked out after that, figuring the rest of the raid would be like this, regardless if i gear up or not.

Meanwhile with you… what is there to be actually gained with keeping legion raids hard for other people, other then subjective “pride and accomplishment”?..

It’s legacy content and players should be able to streamroll through it. Otherwise, the legacy tag has zero purpose.

I did the same on my Paladin Norom-Argent Dawn. I think I was around 320 ilevel at the time. The only trouble I had was figuring out Blackhand, but I still managed to clear it using world quest gear during the 8.1 phase of the game.

The only hard part I loosely remember was the beast master or something that would perma-stun me if I didn’t out DPS the phases or get trapped in a corner. That one was far easier on this toon using my earth elemental so I could stay out of range.

That whole time I was looking forward to seeing the Legion content when 9.0 or 9.1 came out, and I got nothing but disappointment and Blizzard defenders 2 years later. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Have you considered that everyone above level 45 can now solo one-shot AQ-40, which used to take an entire raid of 40 level 60’s months to progress?

Have you considered that I can kill the Lich King on 25 Heroic in 3 basic melee hits, even though it used to take 25 people who were all technically 20 levels higher than I am right now months to progress?

Have you considered that content that is not current is not current content, and is treated differently in every aspect of the game?

Have you considered that time changes things, and that they are what they are because they ain’t what they used to be?

Are you trying to say all the people’s complaints about legion’s old raid scaling are invalid because you compared to what it is back when it was current?.. What? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Mate… old raids get soloed all the time as each expansion passes… Why does that take away anybody’s accomplishment to know that somebody who went in and solo it no problem now, despite you taking months?..

… Are you seriously complaining that people get to solo old raids? Old raids??..

Because i choose to. I checked it out for myself, barely survived and i agree with OP. Infact i’ve always agreed from the beginning that legion content wasn’t scaled up correctly and it’s never a matter of gear. With people saying "Oh yea, just get 200+ ilvl! you will be fiiiiiiine! :crazy_face: "

Yeah, you know what that reminds me of?.. This quote i’ve said to somebody who posted their Mythic Xavius kill awhile back… :point_down:

Point being is, you shouldn’t have to wait until 9.2 or gear up to solo level 45 content as a level 60.

You still yet to explain how it’s “the desecration of raid content”… What is it destroying by making the old raids easier?..

People earn things by doing those transmog runs. Gatekeeping has no place in such a big game. Let people have fun, don’t be entitled to ruin it for them.

Normally we would have been able to but for some reason this expansion removed the legacy buff when it was supposed to be made on all expansions that are at least 2 expansions ago. I still can’t even solo mythic ToS and Antorus where as in BfA I was able to solo all mythic raids from WoD etc. (as a mage that is) To be fair though I haven’t tried in a while. Maybe 5 ilvls ago but I seriously doubt I will be able to solo those completely.

We will have to wait until next expansion to solo Legion mythic raids.
