Why argue for dual spec?

Why should I stop replying to you? You’re a great straight man and I’m often using you to make jokes.

According to CED, the straight man is the more serious of the two men in a comedy act, who is often made to look stupid by his partner.

Merriam-Webster English Dictionary defines “straight man” a member of a comedy team who says things that allow a partner to make jokes."

I’ve seen not a shred of evidence that you have the slightest clue what blizzard thinks about anything.

Not matter how stupid an idea is someone will say it on the internet some where. Your posts are proof of that. While it’s possible one or two people claimed that classic would die without dual spec I’m sure it wasn’t 1,000. I don’t recall anyone saying that and I doubt you’d be able to find 5.

Yes, exactly, but I don’t claim I have some special knowledge of the devs mind and you usually do. This is the first time I’ve seen you actually admit you’re in the dark when it comes to the motives and intentions of the devs while I’ve always said that.

This is where your logic fails. You claim you know dual spec will not be added. I point out that your history of making correct predictions about the future is woefully lacking and I think you don’t have a clue what will happen next. You then assume I’m claiming special knowledge of the intentions of the devs, that I’m saying you’re wrong and dual spec will be added. What I’m saying is

Yeah, it’s my totally subjective opinion. Just like everything you post is your totally subjective opinion. The difference is I don’t claim my totally subjective opinion is a fact and you do.

For a guy that brings up reading comprehension and failed logic so much one would think you would take your own advice and perhaps actually be intelligent so you wouldn’t have to argue against your own strawman in every post.

Here, since you keep missing it:

Im saying no dual specs is more than likely our present and future and there’s nothing to suggest otherwise. This has been confirmed by reality. Youre beef isnt with me, its with reality and youll always lose a battle with reality.

There’s no legitimate reason to bring them in. Otherwise you would have provided something other than your safely ignorable subjective opinion. Subjective opinions will never drive TBC development. Its not allchanges, sorry bruh.

Nope it’s some changes, which dual spec falls under the category of and which blizzard is very happy to entertain.

So what you are saying is Blizz is very happy to entertain dual specs. Well, no evidence of that exists at all but you got nothing to lose by being openly biased so why not?

Either that or youre allchanges because if you dont specifically mean dual specs and just bait and switch back to the generic “changes” that could be any change aka allchanges.

Since the devs are somechanges though I hardly doubt dual specs will qualify since its only a mere opinion the game would be better instead of a fact.

Looks like Im right after all. Dual specs have next to chance to come in under those circumstances.

Well what we can definitively say is they do not support your #nochanges position

nochanges doesnt even rightly exist so referring to it as a real thing is something a huckster would do.

Changes happened. Were somechanges now. But we’re not allchanges which really puts a knife in the heart of pro dual spec stance since subjective opinions on the need for extra convenience dont fit into somechanges. TBC doesnt need dual specs someones opinion isnt going to change that.

Of course #nochanges doesn’t exist, which is why you should stop using it as a reason dual spec shouldn’t be added.

I realize that’s hard as you can’t come up with an actual in game reason dual spec would be a problem and refuse to admit you only care about nostalgia.

Allchangers like you shouldnt be talking down to anyone.

Like who? I can actually articulate my position on different changes unlike you, which is why you resort to #nochanges.

You assume that what you claim is common sense and reason is the same as what blizzard is using as common sense and reason to make changes. Blizzard has done so many surprising things that your common sense and reason did not predict. Where is your post where your common sense and reason predicted that blizzard would ban input broadcasting software? Where is your post where your common sense and reason predicted that blizzard would limit dungeons to 30 a day? Where is your post where your common sense and reason predicted that blizzard would change the arena start point from 1500 to zero? I could go on. Blizzard very clearly uses something different than your common sense and reason when they make changes.

Blizzard uses something different than my common sense and reason too when they make changes. That’s why I don’t make predictions anymore. I’ve been surprised and wrong to often when I predicted what blizzard would do. I learned from that. You also have been surprised and wrong too often to trust your blind faith in your power of prophecy that you claim is based on your common sense and reason. But you still haven’t learned from your mistakes.

Burden of proof is on you. I know this is a big problem for you but its not a reflection on me that you think youre above logic and reason. I dont have to make a case for a non dual spec TBC. Its here and not because of me. It already exists therefore I don’t have to justify its existence. You on the other hand want the game to change based on an opinionated whim and that’s not gonna require you to make a case for it. You cant. You dont deserve dual specs then.

Im somechanges, youre allchanges. Lets get it straight please. Im not asking for changes.

Yet you refuse to come up with a reason why dual spec would be an issue beyond #nochanges

Do you wanna get back on the topic of dual specs or do you just want to spin this into non sequitorville some more so you can avoid being wrong by taking on the actual argument we are having. None of this is relevant, its not about me or these other changes.

Prove it. None of those examples you provided fit the bill of totally stupid decisions made with no care in the world. Surprising? Some, maybe but thats doesnt mean they were made without some kind of common sense and reason driving them.

nochanges doesnt exist. Thats your strawman. Its your delusional opinion I dont have to address.

Im somechanges, not nochanges. Youre allchanges, just like you said you were. If you favor dual specs, youre allchanges.

I’d love to get back to discussing the topic of dual specs. But all you want to talk about is your ability to predict the future. No one cares about your predictions about the future. You don’t even care about your predictions of the future. You are sure dual spec will not be added yet here you are a few months later after you first made that prediction still posting on dual spec topics. Your predictions change nothing and no ones behavior, not even yours.

Maybe, by what blizzard considers their common sense and reason, just not your common sense and reason.

Yet you keep using #nochanges as your reason why dual spec shouldn’t be added…

Youre the guy who keeps going off on tangents. I keep asking the same thing. Are dual specs likely, yes or no? Im posing this question right to you again, answer it this time.

I dont think theyre likely. I have plenty of cause to assume that, its 100% okay for me to assume that and think its true and not be trampled under your “feedback” that says Im wrong even though no credible evidence to prove Im wrong exists and you dont bother trying anyway. Its all coward ad hom rhetoric that doesnt say squat.

If you have something that says Im wrong or way off in my assumption about dual specs being a non starter for TBC then please provide that. Otherwise, just admit youre allchanges and hope the devs are too.

There’s no such thing as Blizzards common sense and reason or Corpseknife’s common sense and reason. Its just common sense and reason and it looks like you never met with common sense or reason and secretly hope you never have to.

I dont have to. Dual specs are not confirmed for TBC. Im not nochanges either. Since Im not nochanges and you want change that means youre allchanges and have to validate your allchanges attitude toward TBC.

You should get on with it already or admit you dont deserve dual specs.

Don’t bother your arguing against autistic mindsets.
I made a list of a dozen valid logical reason why It doesn’t belong, and they are too pig headed to even read through it and make intelligent counterpoint
So feel free to add to the list if you like, but it won’t matter because they are fixated on their own self-importance

I’ve answered it several times. I don’t know because I am totally in the dark when it comes to the motives and intentions of the developers. Some people have trouble admitting they don’t know. Some people have trouble facing a world in which they don’t know the answer to many questions. That’s why religion exists, to give people some answer, god, to those questions to comfort them.

I was absolutely sure that blizzard would never ban input broadcasting software. I wrote post after post arguing with the multiboxers that blizzard should ban it and posted many many reasons. Even though I was 100% sure that input broadcasting software would never be banned. I was wrong.

As the population dropped and my server and other servers got smaller and smaller I was sure blizzard was going to do something to deal with this issue. I thought they would do what they did in around the MoP time and connect realms. When my guild, a guild I was very happy in, decided to transfer to Mankirk I didn’t transfer with them because I was sure blizzard would do something. I was sure they would not sit back and do nothing as servers died. I was wrong again.

I learn from history and from my mistakes. You clearly don’t
