Why arent the unarmored mounts going to be available in vanilla. I am outraged....:(

I’m thinking it’s because they don’t want to hurt people’s epeen who have those mounts on live. That sounds absolutely ridiculous to say but I have no clue why else they wouldn’t add them.

What? We get level 40 mounts and then level 60 mounts right?

You’re talking about the weird mounts that were in Gadgetzhan’s parking lot?

If so, maybe they could re-add them as anniversary gifts or something later on?

there was a handful of epic 100% speed mounts with out armor in actual classic wow… they are refusing to add them… and will only give us the armored variants instead… complete fail team working on classic.

yeah, I think those are the ones that were parked at Gagetzhan in the Vanilla (not sure beta). There were npc’s who could trade in the old ones for new ones in Vanilla too.

Were their animations broken? or was it just poor detail? The ones at Gagetzhan did look funky.

Feb 1, 2005, I barely played any legion…

I played Vanilla and seriously don’t care about these mounts…

Yeah but you say this to everyone who doesn’t agree with you.

However, you are a joke.

There was actually nothing wrong with them. They share the animations and looks of the other race mounts and come in more unique colors.
Their removal was purely based on the new ones coming out. Pushing for you to only have the new armored mounts caused a false sense of rarity. Probably to more easily distinguish between an epic and not epic mount.
They just race mounts like any other and not rare.

One of the reasons they should be added in again. Anyone could get these and there is nothing wrong with the models.

Why are the unarmoured mounts such a big deal?
Please none of that vanilla “purity” crap.

People want a vanilla experience… any fan of the game would want the chance to obtain one of these mounts like they were able to in vanilla. Why is this hard to understand? Blizzard is not giving us the classic experience we deserve and want.

Really? Nobody’s laughing…

That’s actually the first person I’ve said that to. Check my post history. Your false accusations are not needed. That’s the method of people who can’t utilize any facts to create an argument.

My prediction… ~6 months after launch they’re going to say something about “hearing our cries” about the unarmored mounts.

Then a real money store is going to pop up as the only way to get those mounts.

because they weren’t in the game for the majority of vanilla, the philosihpy they’re following is 1.12 data as it’s the most complete version and the exceptions they are making is when something was one way for the majority of vanilla and the 1.12 version doesn’t tie into their recreation piece philosophy. ie; specific racial mount training.

Because when you look at those mounts your brain says ‘Vanilla’
They are the originals.
When you look at screenshots of Vanilla they all use these mounts.
It was the only place to get them and see them regularly. As a Vanilla copy server they should have that.

A very large number of people like these mounts and missed out because they played post Vanilla. Some people even prefer these mounts.

It sets the Classic servers apart from Retail further as the only place you will and should see these commonly. A representation of how simple the game used to be with it’s simpler mounts.

Nobody is actually against including the mounts themselves either. People don’t care or people have trouble with how they are implemented but nobody says
"no these are not Vanilla we can’t accept these.’

Racial mount training was present in 1.12. Using racial mount training in Classic is NOT a change from 1.12.

The change was not made until 1.12.1.

If that is the case, so be it. But they need to be in the game somehow.

Because it’s something people really care about. I fell in love with the nightsaber the first time I started playing and was crushed that I’d never have one. I’m sure plenty of other people had the same experience.

Now everyone gets a second chance at the game to get items, titles, and experiences they missed the first time around, so why should the mounts be excluded?

Chiming in; their stated reasoning is, in fact, garbage. The people who are going to be level 60 in time are going to be level 60 a month in, whether or not they get a mount for it.

Indeed. Give us these mounts and dont forget to post in the mega thread.

It’s because we are getting 1.12.1 classic.
Not pre 1.4 vanilla.
That is all…

Youre too fixated on the patch # and missing the point that this is supposed to be a recreation of vanilla wow from start to finish.
