This is the unfortunate truth of gdkp.
The payout generally keeps it going.
People don’t dip if their item doesn’t drop.
It’s a good loot distribution system for pugs if run honestly and organized. Just like most things.
It’s not my thing and I wouldn’t cry if it disappeared tomorrow. But I like to run with a guild and the one I’ve stayed with all through Classic since 2019 uses LC. It’s been awesome but like anything ymmv.
People need to stop hyperfocusing on gdkp and stand up to guildies and friends that buy gold.
im sure you have already visited a site rhyming with b q b already

are you capable of reading past the first half of a sentence in a post? or are all your replies trolling/spam?

Nope. I haven’t found the need to head there. But do assume some more… you’re only going to make a fool of yourself with your already over-zealous hate towards GDKPs.
If you have to say it out loud… it’s obviously not true.
I honestly don’t think a lot of people realize that questing at max level 25 now converts the exp into gold.
im not the one defending rmt laundering

Or that riding training and mount prices have been halved in SoD.
You’re entitled to believe what you want bud, doesn’t make it true.
XD I don’t think people even do quests before they talk about the boost.
Go do those 50 elite-high level quests then come back.
That’s the only quests giving 2g atm.
yeah, because that is making green helms go to 50g on the ah

GDKPers are legitimately like crackheads. It’s crazy how the same faces appear whenever threads critical of GDKPs are made to vehemently defend the practice.
Not all but its a solid driver behind it.
The main reason people buy gold is to afford GDKP’s.
And once GDKP’s start ramping up and bids get higher, people get more gold from them.
People have more gold so the price of regular items go up because people know there are others out there that can afford them.
When the raw gold that exchanges hands increases the purchase price of desirable items increases.
Now a GDKP here and there is not going to really make an impact but when they are flying off all the time. Now its way for people to farm gold, just do a GDKP and don’t bid on anything, just claim a few hundred gold.
This is just how the economy works mate. You up the average wage then the price of the average item go’s up as well.
Id say the items up there would take what, 1 maybe 2 GDKP’s to obtain that gold?
From what I can tell it starts with them buying gold and then they really get into the GDKPs and they start making alts to run in other ones and it goes on and on. So one player ends up generating a ton of gold. And then you have 10 players doing this in each GDKP and when you have hundreds of GDKPs going on the gold just gets out of control. That’s why they need to be banned. Whether or not you think GDKPs are a good way to get items I think most people will can agree that ultimately it has a negative effect on the game economy.
My comment about riding training and mount cost was a simple attempt to alleviate any stress some may have about gathering the funds to purchase at 40. Some players haven’t heard that news. One less thing to drive someone to rmt is a positive, correct?

Just finishing the green/yellow quests I have left at 25 would be an easy hundred fifty+ gold. Not counting drops.
Now for someone who’s done that on multiple alts?
