Me, unlike you, actually spent nearly a decade training professional fighters. You’ve landed on the wrong spot.
And it’s only become worse. GDKPs involve going into a raid to spend gold on gear that you don’t want to ordinarily compete with players for. You know, like being a good player? RMT existed without GDKP. But GDKP exists because of RMT. People are not turning upto a AQ GDKP to spit around a few hundred gold. Why go to the trouble? People show up to boost these raids because they are lucrative and they’re lucrative because there’s gold buyers there. People regularly recruit ‘buyers’ and those buyers are obligated to ‘flash gold in trade’ to show they have a good enough ‘budget’. These people then spend exorbitant amounts of gold on whatever items get shilled. And if they don’t spend gold, they get banned from GDKPs. That’s how it works. They want gold buyers there so their pots are bigger so they can attract good players. Anyone that has been in one has observed tens of thousand of gold on VANILLA regularly changing hands over some of the most mundane upgrades. It’s crazy.
