Why are racist players not getting banned after being reported?

Im so tired of inclusion. We need to go back to exclusion. The experiment has failed. People arent going to get along.

Inclusion was always doublespeak for conformity. Wasnā€™t really much of a genuine experiment to begin with.

I have to ask, if this player was an issue? Why would you stay in a 2nd group they got invited to? I would have left.

And how that is not the moto of this generation ?

You have a UBER RACIST EPISODE OF HUMAN HISTORY portrated in a movie that is cheered by being an icon of the culture that was itself victmized by a tyrant who abducted female children and put them through mostly fatal regimem of training to be an elite guard for a Pā€¦ RACIST TYRANT, who enslaved and sold people from 4 different ethnic groups to European slave traders.

After that, WoW racism is literally ā€œchilds playā€.

Yea that explains why you donā€™t know about the very well known party swap america had

Other countries learn about this, you didnā€™t somehow

The red has failed your education

Iā€™m sorry but, anybody that argues for and or against either side needs some help, both sides suck the same.

Nobody said it happened in a day. You are free to read actual history books if you want to learn the time line though. Political parties form, dissolve, and shift in ideology over time. It happens in every country and has happened through all history. It is not a one side or another thing. It is just factual and easily documented.

It is very hit or miss. Depends on what state, what school, and what teacher. Some states are much better than others at teaching history, even history with the less pretty parts. Keep in mind though, they usually donā€™t teach ā€œcurrent eventsā€ as history. Those things that are recent are things you are expected to learn by just living in that time period. So there are people here who went to school during the Civil rights movent and did not actually learn the whole story and see the wider picture. Only what they learned in their community.

Sadly, that is not universal and even those who were taught, seem to have forgotten and buy into sound bytes and propaganda. People want so much to reinforce their belief that they reject any info that does not align, and it is easier than ever to find an echo chamber online.

It is really sad. I donā€™t even think they teach basic marketing anymore - as in how people build marketing and sales strategies to convince you to buy things you donā€™t need. It was a great unit that helped us sort through all those misleading adverts, stars shilling stuff, etc.

We are all more alike than different. Share the same core goals, wants, desires. In this case, we all share a common hobby and all want the game to be fun, enjoyable, engaging, etc. How we get to that point may differ, but the end goal is the same as a player base.

Youā€™re actually right about this. All the segregationists and white supremacists, like Strom Thurmond, Mills Godwin, and George Wallace, kept on having the same beliefs. What they did do however was leave the Democratic party in the 1960s, and either join the Republican party (like the former two) or become independents (the latter).

The people in the parties changed, largely because of the 1964 presidential election between Barry Goldwater and Lyndon Johnson, which focused on Johnsonā€™s big government programs and the Civil Rights Act.

Iā€™ve been talking to Wariya for years.
My brain has always pronounced it like ā€œMariahā€ā€¦ War-eye-uh.

My world is not the same now.

Hey OP, Sunday is over ------------->

They still teach it, however, most people are not in the marketing industry, so they are not required to attend such a class. What I question is if history classes still teach all sides of issues to help build critical thinking skills and to teach people how to be skeptical of the propaganda they receive.

But this thread has gotten a bit derailed.

This is the question that needs to be answered. If you dislike what someone is saying so much why submit yourself to more of it.

Just a fun fact for yā€™all given the topic is lost anyways:

The first time safe space was used in the context of talking about a space in which a given likeminded people could talk about ethnic issues without being chastized for it was used by the then emergent party that would become the German National Socialist Workers Party.

Just food for thought ā€¦

well schools do teach about the basic marketing but greed takes over
example the pyramid schemes you see the money and the brain shuts down

Oh yea that MGT one recently demanded safe spaces for conservatives didnā€™t she?

Dudeā€¦ this is unhealthy.

Donā€™t stalk players just because you donā€™t like what they say. Blizzard will review your report and if they decide itā€™s worth taking action on, they will.

You stalking the player and making threads/multiple tickets about their behaviour could result in harassment being levied against you. Donā€™t push the envelope.

Youā€™ve got the bloke on ignore (on all his characters, not just one because ignore is account wide now), youā€™ve reported him, now move on.
