This game lives and dies by its community. The more people playing it, the better.
But the $90 mount is, by no means, a way to get people back into the game and playing. It’s just a way to feed off the remaining playerbase as much as they can until they can no longer do it.

Because players want mounts to earn in-game and they keep adding more and more and more to the cash shop instead. This one though hit a nerve due to its cost. I find it absurd, no set of pixels is worth that much LOL. I have an AH toon parked in Org so it’s also not that useful a thing to have imo. If someone wants it though I don’t care, it’s their money to spend how they see fit.

It’s why people hated the garrison in WoD.
Mount isn’t worth more than entire games. Elden Ring costs less.
and I have those toys and portals and wormholes and mole machines…and this mount is STILL saving me tons of running time when Im farming for hours on end.
The garrison kept you inside and out of site of everyone else
This mount is literally usable anywhere you can mount and literally helps encourage NOT running back to a garrison AH to be alone.

Its not worth it to you for your own reasons.
It would be worth it to me up to maybe 150 bucks or so because I farm all day long and it saves me tons of wasted running time.
To my wife its ‘not worth it at all’ because she doesnt bother with the AH much at all.
I use to see a lot of brutos, now I only see a few. The fad died quickly.
