Why are people opposed to duel spec?

And those don’t remove gold from the economy, it just changes hands.

So what???

This is not a zero sum economy.

People are that much of a window licker to think Dual Specs are part of the problem that killed off WoW…

Literally no reason why it shouldn’t be in tbcc or vanilla classic

Why don’t they just go back to vanilla classic if they want #nochanges? It’s not completely dead is it?

Because they want to be contrarians and don’t want to be proven wrong after all this time that dual specc might actually help the game.

The amount of people against it , from my experience is very limited, and mostly limited to an extremely vocal minority on the forums.

vanilla classic also had changes so the “no changes” thing has been dead for awhile now

Good idea! Why don’t you go make a thread about it. I’m sure it’ll blow up with 1000s of posts if it’s a heavily desired feature, the way dual spec is.

Off you go, then!

Friends like these?

In all my years playing wow no one has ever treated me as bad as they treat you

Talk about an absolute insane leap Lol. How do you compare garrisons and titan forging to dual spec LOL

We can all agree we are getting WOTLK. Like 99.9%

So why not just give us wotlk dual spec now? like we are gonna have it in 8 months if you like it or not… So let’s just fast forward the clocks a bit.

Your reason for keeping dual spec out of the game is to keep AN NPC RELEVANT?

ARE YOU SERIOUS.

I’ve heard it all now. We truly are in la la land.

Literally the biggest reach of an argument i have ever seen

So the only use for gold is to Respec now??

With dual spec your conclusion is that people won’t do dailies?? Like what??? All gold needs ended with dual spec??

I have seen it all now.

OK so you’re not against dual spec. You’re literally against removing the cost for respeccing. You should be more specific in your posts.

I’m against removing the consequences of respecing. Tbc was designed with these consequences intentionally. And tbcc is advertised as an authentic recreation of tbc. Which means the design goal intentions (especially the ones with a clear answer to them like dual spec has) should be respected.

So just don’t use dual spec and you can continue enjoying the consequences of that.

A consequence of respeccing is having to rearrange all your bars and addons and gear, but you just said you were OK with that because there are addons that do it for you (and blizzard has integrated addon functionality into the UI for years as a design principle).

So you’re just here to tell people to git gud and farm gold, but you’re actually OK (and support) the dual spec capability in the actual game itself. You just want people to pay 50g each time they swap. I personally have no problem with this - I just want to very clearly define your position so you all can keep the discussion to the points that are in contention.

LOL.

Yes tbcc completely copies the original “intention” of the game.

Don’t mind our 58 boost, paid mounts, toy, hearthstones, phase system, t5 not out at launch, early prenerfs, removed attunements, mage boosting, gdkps, bots, arena boosts, comp stacks, min maxing, million hours of YouTube videos, lifestyle change, technology changes… I promise you this is the exact iteration of the game we played in 2007!

Therefore since we have an exact replica of the game we therefore cannot grant you something that will be in the game anyways in 8 months. Nope not allowed!

Those “consequences” can already be bypassed with add-ons. The gold cost can’t.

You have add-ons that can save talent templates and your bar set up templates. Blizzard putting this into the base game only makes a difference to people not already using these add-ons. But there is no addon that removes the gold cost or the need to return to your trainer.

Nope not allowed we didn’t have those add-ons in 2007 and this is a 100% pure replica.

Anyone using those addons should be banned immediately.

What’s particularly funny is he’s not even good, he raid logs and performs at a barely average level in raids.
