Because WPvP is fun.
They are. Or rather, most people haven’t even thought about it yet.
What you’re seeing is selection bias, where the people who want to thump their chests about how they’re going to a PvP server, are thumping their chests about how they’re going to a PvP server. Most people who play on PvE servers don’t feel the need to announce to everybody that they’re going to play on a PvE server.

I’ll be on a PVE server here. It seems like most are vying for PVP because that is the biggest voice out there right now with streamers and such but the percentage of actual people on each type will be about the same in the end.
you run out of bosses to kill in the same sense you run out of quests… yay?!

not really those bosses will still drop loot, that due to less drops per boss, will take awhile to get all the gear you need.
But you missed the point of what I was saying, as long as you having fun, it doesn’t matter as there is no ‘right’ way to play/enjoy WoW.

there’s pve content and pvp content… how exactly would you be missing MORE than 1/2 when there’s only 2 aspects?

in Vanilla? 4 Bgs, wpvp, barely an honor system.
several thousand quests, 12+ dungeons, 6 raids, professions
nowadays you can add a few more to the pve while only adding arenas and like half a dozen BGs.
Yes there is waaaaaaaaaay more PvE content, always has been,not sure what you are trying to argue really,lol.

Every single person on a PVP server CHOSE to be there. Why should I feel guilty about ganking them? If you want to be a care bear, then PVE servers are waiting for you.

Most people arent going to a pvp server.
At no time in WoW’s lifespawn have pvp servers ever outnumbered the pve servers.

well if you count RP servers then yes, I found stats where the breakdown was 43 pvp and 40 pve and 5 rps during Vanilla.
