Actually you do. Casual pvp is chock full of the mythic geared masses.
Some people don’t like rated PvP and want to PvP for their PvP gear. In WoD you could never step into arenas and have the same conquest gear as a rank1, it just took you longer. That was perfect design.
Anyone defending the current gearing situation is obviously just reaping the benefits and rewards of it and just wants to continue to make a living off boost/sales.
If you aren’t doing the hardest content, why do you need the higher level gear?
Like half this thread is the same hacks trying to defend Blizzards horrible end game. We’ll see just how far Blizzards our way or the highway gets them when casuals leave en masse.

Odd that you should mention that considering their highest subs was when “raid or die” was allegedly at it’s worst. AND it was a time when a small minority raided at high levels.
They all already did, it’s why FFXIV is constantly praised and well liked and this game has less than 200k active players on NA region.

Seems pretty cut and dry. Group content with coordination is harder and requires more to do, thus the rewards are better as they should be.
No one is FORCING anyone to do anything. It’s a game we all CHOOSE to play. As far as doing top content…that’s the definition of trying hard because you want to be at the TOP of the CONTENT ladder doing the TOP CONTENT.
If you choose not too, that is just you choosing not too. Either way Blizzard does offer solo routes to success and fun gameplay. If you don’t enjoy the group content and you don’t enjoy the solo content…why are you playing the game? The game is what it is.
So go play FFXIV. I mean, if it’s so great, why are you still here?
You mean when you could get raid gear from doing heroics, and PvP gear(especially honor) was high ilvl and gear gaps were 5-10% at most instead of 300%?

There were no heroics in vanilla and the “raid” gear in TBC heroics was sub Kara gear.

I could beat naxx geared players in blue honor gear in vanilla. In BFA they’d half shot me.
