Most Alliance cry posts I see, appear to be alts with low posts count and personal achievements.
Which makes me think it’s Horde players trolling on the forums to further the stereotype.
If I wanted to believe in stereotypes, I could tell you every Horde player is an edgy prick that eats too much and watches too much Anime. But I know that stupid.

The OP is asking for a million different answers but in short…
I’d agree with most of this. Racials matter less to me, however I see racial disparity being a huge problem. I see Gnomes and Dwarves as different sized humans. Meaning that at my selection screen I have:
- Two alien options
- A werewolf option
- Two elf options
- Five human options with a 6th on the way.
If you see things as I do, then you really only have 4 options and it sucks. The Vulpera really hit that home and they look really good. On top of all this, Dreanei and Worgen are fairly class limited (IMO) so even if you wanted to throw in some variety, you can’t always. Excusing allied races, the horde races look distinct. You get a different vibe, lore, body type, and great class options from some iconic races throughout the games history.
Gnomes, frankly, are a sub-class. They feature little in lore, and they’re not wildly interesting.

because Worgen don’t have tail options. They Don’t have High Elves. Dadgar hasn’t made enough dad jokes. Goldshire hasn’t expanded their building even though the rooms are booked 364 days a year. and Sethrak are not a playable race on their faction. and… AND Naga are still not a player races for the Alliance… just to list a few.

All the complaining worked so far. Bee mount, war mode bonus, war mode quest. Come on horde lets join together and do what they do best so we can get something.
Well, I guess I’m an alliance player now since I’ve moved my main over. I just want to play horde races, especially vulpera but all my friends/family are on alliance now.
The horde can have their bee mount, I have no interest in it, some people seem excited… now a kaldorei armoured chimera… then we would be talking.
The warmode bonus really seemed to help make war mode more fun tbh… hated being ganked by 30 horde with maybe two other alliance skulking around in the distance

Find raid

It’s kind of what I had to do in my server groupings when the alliance were outnumbering the Horde 30-40 to 1, camping flight paths and making the game basically unplayable. People working together towards common goals in an MMO shouldn’t be an alien thought process.
Of course, and you would be correct, but to reach goals (wqs and questing) you cannot be in raid. Finding groups for call to arms and being successful is no problem now.
True there just isn’t really a point to roling allience if you want to progress. They could buff the alliance to overpowered levels but that would just make the problem reversed not fix it.

I’m unhappy because Blizzard gave my favorite race to the Horde for artificial, out-of-lore game balance purposes. It doesn’t feel right playing a Blood Elf alongside Trolls and Orcs and Undead and really takes me out of the Warcraft feeling that I developed as a kid.

I’m just saying is that the devs have mocked the alliance more than once before, have gone on record saying they had to scrap ally content because of time and they were working on horde stuff first and at the same time blizzard ignores the community concerns about horde racials being better for so long that top players feel forced to change factions
you asked why, those are the reason I see and btw I’m not saying alliance is right or wrong, I’m just saying that I can understand why some would be mad since at the end of the day if its bias or incompetency their factions high end PVP/PVE died because of it

Out of lore? The Blood elves are horde because the alliance refused the undead so the undead joined the horde then the undead aided the blood elves and brought them into the horde because she was their ranger general. I could go into greater detail but what i think you ignored was Sylvanas the once ranger general of the high elves.

No, they were given to the Horde because the faction was far outnumbered by the Alliance in terms of players and the solution was to give the Horde an attractive Alliance race. What you’re citing is post-move retconning and justification for the business decision to move them to the Horde.

Was Sylvanas not the leader of undead and part of the horde since vinilla? Whats so hard to believe that she and the undead would aid the blood elves and and because of which they would join the horde in the next expansion? Sure they probably wanted to give the horde a pretty race to help things out but its not like there werent ties on both sides of the fence for the blood elves to go either way its not like they pulled it out of their butt like they did with void elves.

They should be with the Alliance to this day.

As someone who’s played both Alliance and Horde, though more recently I’ve player predominately Alliance, I can only best describe the experience as being largely just a foil to the Horde versus a faction in its own right. Even though the Alliance is more aligned with traditional fantasy hero races and factions, the Horde comes across as the favorite child.
The Horde often comes across at the “main character” of World of Warcraft with a large cast of colorful characters with a diverse selection of backgrounds and backstories to supplement the lore. The Alliance, meanwhile, feels more akin to a supporting character. Always in the background and never truly feels like it owns the spotlight.
This expansion, especially, has to myself and I am sure others as unadulterated wish fulfillment for the Horde. Between upright orcs, mag’har, zandalari, etc., as a member of the Alliance community… I can’t say with any amount of certainty that I’ve felt we’ve been given the equivalent attention and communication. Even when we are given a “win” in-universe, it also has to be a win for the Horde.

I think it has to do with their dwindling numbers. Since it never balanced out, and the majority of the raid scene is Horde, they see anything pro Horde as another nail in the coffin. You can’t blame them really. If the roles were reversed it’d be the Horde who are very vocal. It’s not a good situation to be in.

I dont think the horde players even want to be center stage the whole burning of Teldrasil and the constant garrosh 2.0 meme had many horde players quite angry that they were the bad guys again and at the same time the alliance were upset that they were going to get boring typical hero stuff again.

I never went for the whole Garrosh 2.0, but
Definitely this.
