Why are alliance players unhappy?

Not to mention the money wasted in making those cinematics which are better than most movie graphics in hollywood just to push the Horde story

The kulteran thin version were scrapped for the sake of time. See the Kulterans unlike all the other allied races that were built from existing rigs were pretty much made from scratch like a traditional race would require.

Being the beta faction in story and real life.

Plus, never getting what its players request, even when it’s mostly cosmetic or story stuff. The monkey paw is real!

The mage set from blackrock foundry is blue and silver sleek with crystals over each shoulder and on the helm that definitely isnt orcish but I get your sentiment

I think the Horde’s storyline has been pretty contrived and poorly done. If anything the storyline for the Alliance has been more organic.

Perception was overpowered so they gave Humans EMFH as they simultaneously killed WotF. For years, the top PvPers were Alliance.

They have just found themselves in the victim category and want to complain. I made a thread about this a couple of days ago. This “Horde Bias” is a total hoax.

In terms of story, zones, and capital city alliance has been MUCH better than horde in BFA. Now that the elf corpse is gone I have hope for the horde again.

I suspect there would have been but WoD failed miserably and they started pull content and eventually just shoved in HFC. There was suppose to be a more transitional story to the Demon stuff from what I understand it would have been a Shattrath raid.

This is pretty much it. The only other solution is to flip roles and that from what I have seen on the forums appears to be a very dividing thing among alliance players.

But what about the “thrilling” twist which is set for next expansion where Blizzard announces “GOTCHA”!

Sylvanas was good all along and Horde and Alliance have to be ashamed. etc etc. “Totally not Kerrigan”

People keep bringing up how kul’tirans got unique rig, didn’t help them did it? Only 0.7% of chars made are KTs, and played, even less. Thin versions were ideal solution for human problem, regular humans being too bulky for rogues and casters, thin humans would fit that fantasy. If they opted for thin version alone, would be one of most played allied races.

There’s quite a few problems on both sides, but I can list some things that I think most would agree with.

Alliance has been struggling with population issues. These stem from various things.

Alliance had their racial EMFH nerfed and that caused the large guild exodus back in Warlords and since then the population imbalance has only gotten worse.

Blood Elves helped the horde population after vanilla and maintained an OP racial since their inception while also being one of the most desireable looking races in the game.

Horde have received a lot of the things they requested, straight backed trolls, straight backed orcs, two of the main turn offs for those races. Which again led to more pop imbalances and now we’ve arrived at cute furry things being added which inevitably will draw even more people to the horde.

Horde and Alliance both suffer from storyline/lore problems in different ways. The difference is Alliance never really gets any pay off to their story. Horde got Sylvanas to fanboi over and actually win things in the story.

The Alliance are more powerful hands down, so they write our leaders to be completely incompetent at every turn, and have us repeatedly lose at nearly everything and the wins we do get are either small or really a win for the horde in disguise.

So…unless its pretty you don’t want it. Hence LOL FAT KUL TIRAN, but"please give us high elves and other pretty things?".

Does this not support my statement about the alliance simply not wanting what it claims to desire in diversity?

Fat humans, how exciting, regular humans already fit the “strong human” fantasy, we needed a “weak human”, which thin humans would provide. Who wants to see a mage or rogue with gorilla arms? They’re supposed to be skinny.

So…the only weak humans are skinny ones?
The only mages who can use magic are the ones who can’t do a push up?
Your pre-conceived notions are the reason the alliance will never change.

People such as yourself won’t ever be happy unless its like every other MMO where the alliance has elves, and pretty races, while the “bad guys” are ugly.

No it didnt but thats just how it went the kulterans were meant to be a “Heartier human” and even if ide have prefered the skinny ones as an option personally i also understand that we had to wait for fking ever to get them in general so long so that the art team had plenty of time to make all those druid forms.

Yeah, I agree part of it could have been because of cut content. But it stood out while leveling my paladin at the time that I saw a single Draenei-themed sword and that was it for Draenei-based gear. All the plate sets he got were Orcish (or Orge) in design. Not to say they weren’t cool looking but it seemed odd in comparison to say, TBC.

As for flipping roles, I never understood why they didn’t flip the protagonist role in the game with each expansion so each faction traded off the lead. Instead, we’ve seen this long story arc first for Garrosh and now for Sylvanas.

You linger on this elf fantasy that I did not mention in my comments, as your sole argument. Yes mages don’t look like arnold.

And since you’re bringing up elves, let’s stay on that. Nearly all alliance mages are female humans and male/female high elves, and seeing as high elves aren’t playable, thin kul’tirans would be perfect replacement for that.

Pretty much this right here.
If you notice, of all the expansions WoD has the least raids with 3. Everything went horribly for them even though the art and music department pull weight.
That and the flying debacle has left Blizzard struggling to keep their flagship game looking good.

I never understood why companies like sacrificing their reputation. It is so bad for business.

That is your belief, this is not a fact.
In DnD, Dragonborn can be sorcerers, very good ones I add, and they have a reasonable str stat.

They do seem to be setting up a flip for the roles tho with Tyrande seeming to be consumed by vengance
