Lets be honest, if you were one faction pony (and thats totally fine and valid IMO) it feel pretty bad to have the devs say stuff like this
and you can look for yourself but ally has had major arcs scrapped for time because they start with horde stuff and leave the alliance for last
in BFA specific the horse meme is strong and uninspired
you add all of those things for years plus the racials imbalance where we have top guilds like method going in the record back in the day saying they switch faction to horde because of the racials and yeah people will cry out bias
truth or not we’ll never know but there is a lot stuff to help you case if you wanna go for it

Yeah but to be fair, the dinosaur meme is a strong one for the Horde as well. They all came from MoP remember? So no one exactly got anything original.
Well, the alliance did with bees.
If we consider racials, they did the same thing in WoD as alliance remember? So many of these matters are simply narratives they look to support.
If you wanted, you could argue similarly for the horde.
I do find that interesting for Tyrande. I hope they are able to pull off the internal conflict within the Alliance story that it so desperately needs in the next expansion.
We saw Genn start to play this role but then he got subsumed in his allegiance to Anduin in BfA. After he denied Sylvanas the Soulcage in Legion, his internal motivations to subvert the Alliance storyline faded away.
The racial imbalance has always been tiny. The thing is top guild like method go for every tiny advantage and the sheep fallow. Same with how the alliance for the longest time got the majority of top end arena players. Granted arena is a smaller community than raiding so still doesn’t feel great
Answer to everything nowadays is “you got a bee”, not like they have a black bee that they’ll implement sometime soon that will likely be usable by both factions, and meanwhile Horde got 10 other things.

The story will revolve around Tyrande she seems to want vengance on the horde while Genn who is a very good boy only wants the Banshee. The real question for me is where Malfurion will stand in all of this
Horde has pop, raid domination, pvp, racials, mounts, dev attention etc. Alliance got…1 bee. Yay?

I might even give you that, but the trend of following those tiny advantages were obvious and people were pretty vocal about it, they tune and change stuff every spec but never but the “tiny” advantage was there for the most part
but like I said I’m not saying its one thing, its all those things combined

Yeah whats really sad is you can tell the alliance allied races have had more time and effort put into them from a technical standpoint hell if you go look Nightborne females have like 6 haircuts total to choose between. The problem is that the races in general despite the extra effort are unappealing hell the void elves may look cool but the lore behind them is really fking stupid.

Honestly highmountain and nightborne are only horde ones that are meh for me, rest are amazing and some people I know rerolled Horde for them.
Vulpera will also claim a worgen friend of mine, so hello more imbalance.

Agreed i had a conversation with a guy on ptr yesterday who was pissed that he liked vulperan but knew his raid leader was going to force him to stay troll because hes in a top 200 guild. I find it dumb because if you look at the top 100 parses for any class they are mostly the same race because of the social aspect of high end raiding guild but that doesn’t change the fact that they arnt all the same race and you can get a top 10 parse not being a troll.

Yeah got a top 500 friend who played draenei for years, then swapped Horde with his guild as Mag’har shaman, but they shoehorned him into race changing for racials.
Racial chasing is stupid, wish they just removed racials altogether. Or made them purely cosmetic, or unusable in raids.
