Why anti duel spec?

Because hypothetically, if dual spec is implemented on the primary basis of it being to help the tank shortage, and then the issue still remains in a capacity that still warrants it being an issue, dual spec is then deemed a failed feature.
Making the reasoning bad.

And again, dual spec does not tackle the greater issue of why people don’t play tanks.
A small list of things I’ve laid out previously.

Heh… the major change that benefits me is totally fine, but a nice change that would helpa lot of people other than me that I won’t personally use is completely unacceptable…

Hypocrisy much…

Ok, so pay 50g then. Do it. Gold is plentiful. I made 20k in the first month of TBC, and I entered the Dark Portal with 500g to my name.

Go pay the current respec.

Oh you won’t?

Too much work even though it’s cheap?

That’s crazy.

Don’t cite the dark magic to me witch, I was there when it was written.

I know how it works.

That’s to buy it. If you have the 2 specs you need, you’d never pay a respec fee. You just switch it whenever, no CD.

Most would not be going tank for content that don’t need, for content that aren’t going to run as a tank. Guilds are culling their tanks because once they’re done with KZ, those KZ tanks are going to be alts, designed from the start to tank, and they too, will not care about you and your heroic.

Free? Free now? What happened to 10g. 50g is already free for me.

It’s the work and effort, not the cost. Dual spec provides more convenience than just being free, and even dual spec did not solve the tank problem.

Putting in more work for the same solution will not solve the problem.

I don’t know what mental gymnastics your brain is doing, but it’s just wrong. You’ve been doing it for hours and I am quite literally losing brain cells.

Again, it’s not the cost that’s the problem for most players. I’m sorry if You’re broke, but 100g a week is nothing. Tanking sucks, it’s the least needed role, and your “solutions” are just a cry for QOL changes because you just want them.

Neither. It’s the work imo. I don’t respec because my pve and pvp bars are so different that you wouldn’t believe that they went to the exact same character.

And respecc’ing is the worse version of dual spec, which we have seen, for the last decade, that it won’t fix your issue.

But everyone agrees it would increase the number of tanks, just not enough to completely solve the problem. Why is a 20% or a 30% or a 50% solution a failed solution?

I don’t know if you’re just missing a few crayons from your Crayola box, but I literally address your comment with my quote. Saying the exact same thing again only tells me you didn’t read, or understand it.

For the recond, Shïvana supported gold-buying during WoW Classic.

So of course he’s not affected by a gold sink. Just to point out bias where it exists.

And I suspect a lot of folks who are anti-dual spec are just buying gold anyway and aren’t affected by gold sinks by proxy.

So you are just falling back on a faulty slippery slope argument.

Because 50% is a literal no shot, 30% is an extreme that in a scenario that has more population than Mankrik has Horde, it gave upwards of 400 tanks from dps, and solved literally no issue because it’s still not enough to balance out the fact that tanks are only needed in bulk for heroics, a lower tier of content.

I don’t get how you don’t get this.
I can’t make it more simple.

50g is a gold sink?

Hit me up in P5 when you finally have enough gold to buy epic flying, I’ll give you a pat on the back for catching up to where the rest of us got to in the first weeks of the game.

Literally make 6k from quests while leveling.

No, you virtually responded to my comment. Not literally since this is a virtual platform. Responding does not mean you addressed anything.

No, not slippery slope.

I’m just suggesting it off of your logic.

If it provides no negatives, then why not?

Oh I see, your brain just lacks wrinkles, got it. Just another ignore, easy.

This is not in agreement, i dont know what thread you have been reading.

Just not enough than to Marginally solve the problem. If you’ve been reading the responses, the sentiment is that it will have marginal changes.

Why have you avoided 1%, 2%, or 5%. <---- are these failures?

So if we go through your list then sure the ones that actually have no negatives great. Barbershop is a perfect example of a why not.

Lol what? What sort of out of context quote are you going to use here?

Anyway, as I was saying…

So the bulk of what I stated, not dual spec actually but the better version of it is, in retail.

Why are you on TBC then?

All those QOL changes exist in their current or better forms.

We chose TBC because we want TBC. If you want literally everything that provides “no negative” then that game actually does exist in retail. All those changes are purely positive QOL changes.

So serious question. Why are you on TBC then?

So you seem to think that list is a comprehensive list of the only differences between TBC and retail?

No, I understand there is more core and fundamental changes that retail has, like more tanks, better class design, smoother gameplay, and more.

The only real negative to retail is the homework, which there is a lot of, and the lore is trash, but it isn’t like TBC lore is better. It’s a broken expansion for lore, making people villians for the sake of them being villians.

But it’s your logic.

If the QOL has no negative, then implement it, and there is a vast ocean of QOL changes between TBCC and retail.

So answer the question, if that is your logic and what you want, then why are you on TBCC?

In literally no other aspect of life would this be true. If you reduced poverty by 50%, or murder by 50%, or obesity by 50%, or whatever, everyone would celebrate you as a hero.

If a policy would reduce murders by 50% and some Republican said it isn’t a solution because it doesn’t completely solve the problem. Every sane person would rightly call him an idiot.

But a bunch of wannabe-intellectuals have completely spammed this thread with the same nonsense.
