No it’s not, Classic isn’t live yet, it doesn’t have a “feel”. You are taking about vanilla and vanilla is long gone. Classic =/= Vanilla
I never played vanilla. I played classic. you’re try to put something there that isn’t. I remember when they introduced the layering and realm switch. It was stupid from the start.
I think it’s mostly retail players who are coming to classic who are fine with these changes, they’ve swallowed the kool-aid on retail and have no problem with blizz ruining things over here.
If layering makes it to launch day, I’ll pass on this and keep my money in my pocket. I was going to resub for classic wow, not retail lite.

Classic is live, you don’t even understand the word. Classic is something 10 yrs or older. Not something made a week before launch.

If anything maybe they can use their already dedicated servers for wow to be used for classic. Let that be temp.

Like I said from start. I love wow. But everything they did year after year ruined the game. It finally caused me to finally stop playing. 12 + years I hoped it would get better and didn’t. I loved the fist month of stress test. the last month when they added layering it sucked and reminded my of the current wow. This layering is going to be a slap in the face to people expecting to play classic wow. I don’t want Blizzard to fail. But as I see it if layering is added they will go back to pirate servers and destroy wow. If you feel that there is not enough servers to handle it. You have o find another way besides layering. Point blank. It’s going to destroy launch!
If we compromise here, they will compromise later and keep destroying wow later.

The first month of stress test horde came to starting area. It was great, it broke up the monotony of questing. people who play wow do not fallow blizzard game plan.

This. The people saying layering makes no difference it’s just like a mini server blabla, are you going to change tune if the layers are locked and you can’t escape pvp or layer hop to farm rares anymore? Yeah that’s what I thought

And that is my point. People think that the fun of wow is by leveling. There is so much more to the game besides leveling. When you concentrate on one thing you miss the whole picture. It’s not about leveling but the camaraderie of the game that made the classic feel!
That is why layering is a slap in the face.
The game isn’t about leveling alone. You can play ps or xbox if you want to level.

Do yo remember what rares dropped in Vanilla? Most of the time it was a green item or a bag. Not worth the effort to “farm”.

Can’t wait to see the look on your face when that flight path drops you mid flight to your death due to whatever they’re messing up with layering. Happens in beta it will happen in live, mark my word
When I was on the beta and the stress tests, never experienced it. “If” it did happen, I’d just dust myself off, file a bug report and move on. No reason to get my undies in a twist about it.
