Who want's layering gone out of game

This, I bet retail will have very high server stability considering the low amount of players who will be left playing it

No classic player will wait the 2 weeks. They’re just like everyone else. They want to level. To see someone at level 20 and they’re level 5 is just a kick in face.

Static layers are no different than servers. You can’t interact with other static layers without creating a new character, until the layers merge. Unless you have a fundamental problem with servers segregating the overall Classic population like in vanilla, then you won’t have a problem with static layers.

Or maybe blizz would rather have the money and let you guys go play retail a week instead. You aren’t going to be increasing their revenue when you are already a part of it.

I’m not stomping my feet. I’m already getting what I want. Layering.

Because I don’t have to. 2019 is not 2004.

Kind of hard for some to understand times change, I know. But they do.

People played Vanilla

A layer contains the population of a vanilla server, how did you reached that conclusion?.

But having static layers that are essentially separate servers and then having to merge all that together is infinitely worse than whatever made up problem you’re thinking of with how they plan to implement layering.

Considering I am not currently playing BfA, and will only sub again for Classic, your point has no ground to stand on.

yes it is, they want classic players to return. not the ones already paying. And once again I played into a troll

Layering is not a bad thing. It is only supposed to be used in the starting areas, and maybe secondary areas (can’t remember) for a short time.

Quit crying about it. It’s a done deal.

Exactly, layering is a very high negative. Too many negatives and they won’t be coming back.

It’s not in starting area. It goes into city and beyond

Good. Let them quit. The constant whining about everything is getting old. If you don’t like the direction the game is going, just don’t play it and problem solved. NOBODY is forced to play WoW.

Merging stable, persistent (vanilla authentic) servers is worse than a server who’s population is never persistent? Where we have to concern ourselves with the mechanics of an unimmersive “background” technology in order to properly socialize with other players? I’m not buying it.

FTFY. :black_small_square:

Wow 1 of my posts is reported as trolling, and yet the people they want back are not here yet. The ones they want back are going into a game that is being trolled by players that ruined the game for the people that quit!

Well laying how they plan:

It’s 1 single economy, you don’t have to merge multiple economies together which WILL be a disaster.

Since all those layers are 1 server and constantly interacting with each other, every guild can recruit every player on that server, rather than being limited to only the people on that specific layer, like what you’re suggesting, which will lead to more guilds spread thin causing them to have to look at merging later in the game. Plus just the sudden “oh look 20 new established guilds just appeared.”

Layering the way Blizzard plans is the best approach to addressing the problems.

Layering, sharding, phasing.

All cancer to an MMORPG and have no place in one.

That’s the point, no one does. Hence the popularity of Classic. Classic isn’t suppose to go in any direction. Layering is a mistake
