I decide for myself, I dont let media or influencers or social media bully me or pressure me into my choices. If they’re having fun playing that game, good for them! I and others are having fun playing wow!
Playing FFXIV now, having tons of fun. I just go back and fourth between FFXIV and Classic TBC.
stockholm syndrome more like!
This post made my day
Played FF14 before…didn’t care for it.
If I do decide it’s time for a break from WoW, it definitely will not be for FF14.
What media …lol
Anyway to the OP… played FF14, it seemed like Doggy poo so will not be playing that . WoW is the only MMO I will ever play.
american mmos have lost their way. japanese always pave the way for innovation and, believe it or not. 90% of electronics in the world. and cars
Does playing the expansion for a month or two to do the story and try the new classes count as jumping ship?
Their PvE content just doesn’t hold a candle to WoW.
I’m playing other games with no intent on coming back to wow for a long time. Wow has ran its course.
Systems are not content for casuals. I’m tired of funding the raiders in wow. If the only thing that gets love and attention in wow are the raids than lets see how well the ship floats without the crew on the bottom deck. Good luck.
If I was going to quit, I wouldn’t play another time-killer like FFXIV. lol
final fantasy is always a good story brand
I’ll be honest, the story will be the determining factor of if I remain or not. I’m likely not going to go fully to FF14; I have an active account, but I’m struggling with a lot of glaring issues in it that just take a lot of enjoyment away from me. But I don’t think I can stomach a story that’s so bad it’s beginning to affect my enjoyment of the game.
My only interest right now is Palia, and I’m cautious about that since there really are no other decent MMOs (to me) out there.
Not jumping ship, no, and not to FF. Just not interesting, personally. I’ll spend a couple weeks in D3 when the new season drops next Friday though.
No interest in other mmos currently but I am holding out for a dev team shakeup here at some point. That could be good or bad but it seems like they will continue designing very similar systems with the current team
There’s nothing to redeem, he hasn’t done anything wrong. The man is a puppet right now. I DO think he is headed for major PTSD and trauma, especially if he can see everything he’s being made to do. It’s so so sad, omg. :’)
Thats messed up to say. If you mean for you, I hope you can overcome! Otherwise, why not allow everyone to choose for themselves what makes them happy and what they play?
I do not play games for the story, either, and I think that is the main reason I’m not interested in FFXIV. I hear there is a lot of required questing that can only be skipped with a real money boost, but I would only ever want the dungeons.
Same with WoW, but at least leveling and the annoying endgame systems only take like 12 hours total before I can get into the dungeons. Still, that’s too much. It helps that I already have all the people I want to play leveled.
If I were going to play a new game, it wouldn’t be an MMORPG, but I would consider an MMO. I might just play Mario Kart with my WoW bestie, who knows
Its hard for me to resist a new D3 season. For this upcoming one, im unsure on which class to main for it! Im hoping Witch Doctor but hoping its a good season for it
The game is exactly where you’d expect it to be with Ion at the helm. Lifeless, empty, and amazing raids. What more can we expect.
This game can be more than a waiting room for raids.
Its time for a shakeup!
Show that Azeroth still has a heart and soul.
I agree but with redemption, I mean he himself is going to feel the need for it. He’s got a huge heart for his people and those he encounters. When he sees what havoc has happened with him as an instrument, theres going to be some trauma to overcome!
