Honest question who is playing both FF14 and wow or is planning to quit to play FF14?

Final Fantasy was terrible when I tried it a couple years ago. Plus WOW will be my last MMO. Will continue playing games but won’t seek out MMOs.

If I was going to jump ship, it wouldn’t be for FFXIV. I have tried it a couple of times over the last year and a half, I just can not get into that game for some reason.

I play both. I play WoW less than 1 hour a week and play FFXIV about 30+ hours a week.

If I quit WoW (again), it’s going to be because I’m simply tired of playing video games in general and want to do something else with my spare time entirely. I wouldn’t be switching over to another time-intensive video game as a substitute.

theyve caused me to quit for a couple months already. We’ll see if that Loot-a-Rang crap keeps sticking in my craw till I do quit permanently or not.

Pretty much this for me too, well said.

I also tried FFXIV a few weeks ago with a friend and just didn’t like it. The gameplay was just to clunky for me. Also don’t like that I couldn’t party with my friend to try group play unless we subbed.

If and when I do quit WoW, I won’t be looking to replace it with another MMO. I play this game right now because of the friends I made in guild. Any M+ or raid content I enjoy doing because they make it fun. If they were to stop playing, I would likely too.

I’m slowly working through the MSQ and taking my time. Once I get to max level I may focus on becoming an omnicrafter and just enjoying the world FF14 has created. If the WoW devs don’t get their stuff together and making poor decisions or putting out a shoddy product (I’m looking at you Korthia and all your lag/disconnects) then I’ll probably just leave WoW altogether. I not at that point yet although every day Blizz seems to be pushing me in that direction.

i’m not, but i’ve been considering it. i mean… i’d get to have a bit more spending-money every month… but, then i would’nt have access to goldshire, or small-army of characters, and that puts a damper on the idea.
