I really don’t think it’s an issue when you millions of people had taken the Vaccine and we get small cases like that. There always be risk by looks of it it’s small percentage
End is near for wearing the stupid mask.
End of masking requirement may be near (in the US at least) IF one is fully vaccinated; that is two weeks after the final vaccine dose.
We’re not out of the woods yet, so we shouldn’t get cocky.
Texas and Florida are doing fine so far. I do believe pandemic is about over.

Just because the rules are loosening for some folks does not mean we are done. You are foolish if you think otherwise. The world is still deep in it and anything can still happen. Even the CDC chief said it’s unpredictable.

Oh, I certainly will, even after 2 weeks when I’m considered fully vaccinated. (got my 2nd shot today)

at this point everything is coming back to normal, Covid got nerfed and we got buffed. you still can get the virus but it won’t be strong enough to kill you. you can keep your mask if you like but. I am personally glad I won’t be wearing this mask for far too long its ruin my face with stupid acne.
India at best is a developing nation that by and large lives in squalor. Are you expecting that this sort of thing wouldn’t be happening in essentially a 3rd world country?
As far as 1st world countries are concerned, the pandemic is definitely going the way of the dinosaur. I live in Texas and work in the hospital. My floor is the “Covid floor” and we are seeing less and less cases of it. And the cases we do see are patients who are positive as a incidental finding, not that they are exhibiting any symptoms.
So yes, we are doing just fine in Texas. Can’t wait for the useless mask to go away.

My whole point to that is, if ti were ANY other drug or vaccination, the FDA would have shut it down. That’s from what little I know, far too many deaths for a drug or vaccine to be considered safe. But I could be wrong, clearly I don’t work for the FDA. lol

In the 2016 presidential election, there were 224 million American citizens age 18 or older, 157 million registered to vote, 137.5 million voted.
Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 and was never terribly popular with the public. The 2020 election broke records for both voter registration and turnout.
Trump received more than 74 million votes Biden 81 million of the roughly 159 million ballots cast out of an eligible voting population of 239 million Americans.
A lot of people were very motivated to vote against Trump in 2020, and they did.
If it hadn’t been for the riots and arson last summer and fall (and likely coming up again soon) Trump would have lost by an even wider margin. But even with the real riots plus the big right wing media outlets showing the same buildings burning for months, and even using film of riots in Europe as background footage during reporting on unrest in US cities, most patriotic Americans were very motivated to turn out and dump Trump.
The seminal study on reactions to failure within cults was done many years ago and published in a book titled “When Proficy Fails”. People haven’t changed in any fundamental way since then and the observations from that study still hold today.
I’m certainly not saying all followers of Trump are cultists; that is no more true than saying the liberal wing of the Democratic party are Communists. Neither statement is true.
But the observations about the reactions to the failure of their premises and beliefs in the cult that was studied does provide insight into some of the reactions seen after the last two presidential elections.

Done, done and done.
Got both shots over the past month, felt like crap after both of them for about a day. But it’s done.
Ate at a restaurant on the seashore and it was nice not needing masks anymore since CT dropped their mask mandate. I didn’t wear mine, none of the staff did, very few of the customers did.
Feel like things’ll be back to normal soon enough.

There have been numerous official statistical audits and recounts in several states, plus the amateur hour currently looking at only two races on the ballot both that went to democrats, and only looking at them in one county, a county with an election that was run by an election board made up of one Democrat and four Republicans, an audit for the most part privately funded with dark money (although the State Senate has chipped in 150K of tax payer money and free use of their subpoena power and may be on the hook for a few million more because of the mishandling of the counties equipment by the audit contractors), an audit that vets its workforce using a methodology that they will not disclose but that has resulted in a person who attended the January DC riots, a person who actually was an unsuccessful candidate in the election being audited, working on the floor, an audit exclusively streamed by the OAN network.
But if, as you say, an actual OFFICIAL audit is taking place somewhere as well as long as it doesn’t waist my tax money go for it.
I know I have, but our constitutional system of free press, free speech, and freedom to protest is the reason we don’t have anything like the Stasi here. And we never will unless we let politicians become so corrupt that a mob of disloyal insurrectionists is allowed to get away with trying to prevent the mandates of our constitution from being carried out without being punished.
I’m also old enough to have lived through the race riots in the 1960s so I remember all the right wingers (mostly Democrats back then) insisting that Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X (el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz) were Communists and that the freedom riders were funded by Communists.

I am at work without a mask. I feel so much freer right now. Now I’ll await for customers who are pro mask who are going to freak out and demand for every employee to mask up.

Just as an update: Since I have a cruise planned in October, I have decided that I will get a vaccine. Because I need a freaking break from the crazy. However…
I will NOT get the Pfizer or Moderna “vaccines” as this is all a brand new technique and there’s no known issues with it down the road.
At least with the J&J vaccine, it’s made from a tried and true method of creating vaccinations. This seems the safest option to me. Not that I believe it will do a bit of good. Otherwise, they would have come out with a Covid vaccine much sooner than Covid 19.
Some people are thinking that the 3rd way is coming.
My understanding, I am not a doctor, chemist, biologist, or scientist of any type so if anybody reading this is, kindly correct anything I’m getting wrong.
Traditional vaccines introduce viruses that are dead or otherwise rendered harmless into our bodies, the immune system sees these as foreign to the body and creates defenses.
If we could artificially manufacture a protein chain that is part of the virus and introduce that into our bodies, the immune system would see these as foreign to the body and create defenses and we wouldn’t have to do all the messing with the actual viruses.
Turns out we don’t know how to do this, but mostly as a result of cancer research we can produce mRNA coded to produce a protein chain that is part of the virus that the immune system would see as foreign to the body and create defenses.
Now for the thing that is really new in this method. Our cells make mRNA that is then used as a template by ribosomes in the cell to create proteins. So, what they’re doing with these new type vaccines is putting mRNA they made into the body, the ribosomes don’t know it didn’t come from our DNA, they’re just basically machines in this scenario, so our ribosomes make protein chains matching those that are part of the virus and the immune system sees these as foreign to the body and creates defenses.
So, as I understand it; it doesn’t re-write our DNA, but it does use our internal cellular biology to produce foreign proteins.
Most experts will point out that theoretically there is little to no risk to this type of therapy, detractors may point out that, until it was in use for a prolonged time, thalidomide was seen to theoretically pose little to no risk to pregnant women.
