BFA zones really don’t need flying to be effective at all and it’ll kill the wpvp that does exist as it’ll just turn to group dropping on people you don’t see coming and you cant get to people that are mounted above you. it simply removes any effort to attain a goal. There’s plenty of FP points.
Hopefully pathfinder part 2 rewards a ground mount instead of flying skill.

Pathfinder 2 for Legion was basically nothing. I think the only reason it’s a two-parter is to timegate it.
zuldazar has 14 flight paths and is still a pain in the butt to navigate and because it does have 14 flight paths and the flight whistle and the Hearthstone doesn’t make it better without flight in fact that proves the point that there should be flight since they made this many ways to skip over the content without actually having flight

Once upon a time (yes deliberately pretense from fairytales) the game was intended (according to propaganda from their marketing) to appeal to players of diverse playstyles.
So if you perhaps were worn-out with “figure out the choreography required to move past this part” (PvE) and wanted to just lay back and get gold by progressing crafting skills, or perhaps by doing just PvP, or gathering, or whatever… . You were still welcome in this game with its wide world all playstyles accommodated world.
Now no matter what your play style, do all content or you don’t count good bye we don’t need or want you.
I don’t care about PvE instance content. Not because I’m better or worse than someone who does, but because that’s just where I’m at now.
So why would I have to do (I really do not care how easy or hard it is) any instanced PvE content to get flying? I don’t have flying in the last two expansions, and never will.
Numerous flight paths, and giant trails.roads around the mountains. It really is pretty easy to get around.

So, what you’re saying is, there should be alternate Pathfinder achievements that grant the same rewards as Pathfinder but their requirements are more easily obtainable for top-end raiders (complete mythic tier for all raids to get pathfinder) or for PVPers (get a certain rank in the PVP season)?
Because that makes sense to me, and I would support a change like that. I never have a problem getting pathfinder because I like to 100% the PVE content, but I understand that’s not how everyone likes to play WoW. It’s the same reason why PVPers are asking for PVP vendors. No two WoW players are the same.
It seems that the excuse/reason for requiring pathfinder before flying was “so you explore all the content before you bypass it”.
So ok, instanced content isn’t something I’ll fly over and bypass, right?
So why would it be a prerequisite to flying?
YEP, I can not even get into this subject because all I see is Cata raid portals from atop the Storm Peaks,such a dope system that did not get developed they instead turned it into a stress.
At this point…fukitt…I mean the last Expansion that was even remotely WoW was mop and I would LOVE to fill 3 pages as to why but I just no longer have the will to do so, 3 Ex-packs of watching all the things I love about WoW get straight GUTTED and I can’t say I even care (SCALING) was the final nail 4me.

No it’s not. If you plan to resub, they’re still getting your money in the end. They know they’ve got you by the twig’n’berries and a few of you denying them $15 for a few months isn’t nearly as impactful of a statement as you think it is.

i hope they take their sweet time. flying drastically changes how the game feels. takes some of the depth away.
Zero doubt we have another long grind. Blizz hates flying and works hard to delay it for a long as possible…
I personally do not care if flying is in the game or it isnt.
It takes the depth of whistling for a flight master, clicking on the taxi, and going AFK for a couple of minutes away. I agree that it drastically changes how the game feels, but it changes it for the better, in my opinion. I feel like I’m in a fantasy world rather than in a Benny Hill skit when we have flying.
Personally, I’m fine with it because I like the zones a lot. I don’t find any of them particularly annoying to navigate to and from a flight path.
I wouldn’t mind not having flying all expac tbh.
I don’t mind it.
Makes world PvP better without it.
When flying is added, I’ll just level up my Alliance guys way faster if not done before then.
And… I’ll be able to gather more efficiently.
Other than that… Meh
I would prefer that, when it was implemented, flying would be disabled in War Mode.
Other than that, I don’t care much.
