Who else is irritated thats in 2019 and we still dont have flying yet?

Okay, again–I said “all danger,” which was hyperbolic. Since the pro flyers are going to be pedantic and nitpicky, I’ll rephrase and say “most danger.” Yea, sure, occasionally you might die even with flight, but the world is vastly safer with flight and other convenience features.

Also, just fyi, you have an ability called feign death that you should put on your bar.

Feign death has its limitations. It saves you from the initial onslaught but if you feign death in the middle of a pack of mobs, you pop back up at low health with a dead pet while all the mobs are back at full health. It’s best used to drop aggro if you’re attacked but its not a “get out of death” card in all situations.

The fact remains, the world is dangerous with level and ilevel scaling. That was the whole point behind its introduction into the game.

I was just kind of being a jerk about feign death, but dude let’s be honest: the world isn’t really that dangerous without enemy faction players in it trying to kill you. I suppose danger is relative, so we should say that the world is far more dangerous when there are enemy faction players in it trying to kill you. I think that’s fair.

I’m absolutely fine with no flying, personally.

Oh also–My original point was that if you are just going to your raid or dungeon, there is zero danger with flying. You can literally fly straight into the swirly blue entrance for most of them without even landing. So you can’t get killed by mobs.

Cheers brother.

No freaking rep grinds for part 2!

Flying was added WAY before Argus.

Can do the same exact thing with a ground mount plus barding. The only time you’re ever going to be in danger is if you choose to dismount and engage with the mobs, or if you choose warmode and happen to encounter another player who uses an item to dismount you.

So I guess you need to widen your campaign against flying to a campaign against mounts.

Do you have a link to said poll? Because I don’t remember that happening at all.

I’d say for some people it absolutely does.

Or perhaps we’ve forgotten the complete and utter fallout that was the WoW community when they announced no more flying ever during WoD?

I remember, and I remember a few people who legitimately quit playing (my friends) and still haven’t come back because they felt it was indicative of a design philosophy. Even after they backtracked, those people felt that it was “too far” and broke their trust.

So I mean… maybe it does make or break the game for some people.

“some people” being key word.

its a law of life that nobody will agree with everyone.

there will always be ppl who dont liek something while others like it or dont care either way.

like me for example. TBH flying should go away. too many ppl QQ over it and even devs say they wish they never made flying a thing outside of TBC.

I am likely a minority in that, but thats life.

WIll it happen? most likely not as more ppl want to fly (thoguh not all of the one who want it are the ppl whining over it taking so long to obtain).

Flying as i said is a QoL thing.
helps some stuff, wrecks other stuff.

World PvP is near nonexistent when flying is 99% of travel. fly in, do thign, fly out.
Economies are effected as flight means more resources faster.
and other similar stuff.

WPVP is about one of the only things I like about this game anymore, but I know that its a small part of this game and that the only reason its somewhat active right now is because of the bonus, without flight and the bonus it was already pretty dead. So flying isn’t going to change anything with WPVP if Blizz keeps the bonus in, if they take the bonus out with or without flight WPVP will suffer. And as for the economy most professions are pretty much useless anymore except at the start of an expansion so its not going to affect it that much.

alchemy never falls off until the VERY end of an xpac when there is no new content to push.

and they will be hardest hit meoment flying is added (think of how winter herb is so cheap casue its mass farmable…thats future of every herb)

So one profession and that’s it lol

you dont math well for beign a gnome .

herbs
aclhemy
equal
2.

and mining related ones will also drop off. (though that is typical around mid x-pac for them except for jc this will be aroudn 1st it falls with it)

Yep. I agree with this 100%

Your not worth having a conversation with the snark.

snark?
it was correcting your misinformative post.

herbs price and alchemy flasks/potions are mutual to eachother.
if u efefct 1 the other is effected.

When I said only one prof I was leaning towards people actually making the potions ok.

How is this then two whole profs.

As for mining they rarely sell after the start of the exp. Or they sell very slowly at least for me.
