i have been using only ground mounts since bfa. i donât hang out in sw.

Yeah Iâm bailing. I did pathfinder part 1 very early on. This is just dumb. There is no longer flight in any relevant zone, they will be releasing it when the only relevant content will be new no-fly zones. Itâs been removed from the game basically. Coupled with all the other issues the game has, itâs just enough for me to be done.

100% spot on. and incursions just came out which are actually a lot of fun, they feel like a huge open world battleground, flying would completely ruin them. You donât need flying at all right now.

To all the people saying things like, âflying is bad, you should appreciate the zones and explore before getting to flyâ or âflying ruins the gameâ.

Iâd appreciate everything a lot more if I could get everywhere as fast as I wanted. I remember back in WotLK, when I got flying, I went everywhere. I spent the first 6-8 hours of play time just exploring everything. Same thing happened when flying came to Azeroth, except that was about 2-3 days total in game time exploring everything.

No it doesnât. People with this opinion just want others to have their experience with the game instead of having their own. If you donât want flying thatâs fine, donât fly then. Its that simple.

I donât recall them saying that. I really think the way they are timing things is intentional so that although they say we have flying, we really donât.

What that poster doesnât consider though is if you are only doing the emissaries daily close to 80% of your time is spent in travel right now. Having flying would help a little bit on that maybe cut it down to 50% travel time.
No it isnât hard to use the fps and whistle but they really donât solve the problem currently in that a large portion of this game way too much time is spent either travelling or working towards cutting down your travel time. Playing and enjoying the content is disappearing as an activity in this game.

Flying has been in the game for over a decade.
Flying is a bad mechanic for you. Thatâs a you problem, not a game problem.
Also, the breathtaking beauty of Jade Forest isnât visible in itâs full splendor from the ground.

The zones were 3 times bigger, flight paths took 3 times longer to fly anywhere, and the gryphons actually moved twice as slow, and we didnât have flight whistles. It takes half the time to explore whole zones now on ground mounts than it did in wrath on flying mounts.

Flight is a bad mechanic.
Itâs like Mounts that were locked at a speed well below the speed of your max riding skill.
it needs to be re-designed.
90% of wow in 2019 makes me irritated. Flying is probably 5% of that.
I did, never saw the need for flying. It was novel, a nice gimmik, and a bit of a convenience when the continents were huge. The novelty wore off pretty quickly for me. I donât believe the current zones have been designed with flying in mind and unless that changes in future expansions I donât expect any major changes to the Pathfinder paradigm.
