At least you don’t go around trying to say that people that want to fly are somehow wrong or advocate to take away what they enjoy.

Short in what manner… In the amount of time it has taken human kind to evolve from amoebas? That grind wasn’t short, and it was time gated.

I don’t think they’re wrong, but in my head I don’t see MYSELF unsubbing over flying. It’s just something I don’t really care about.
As for others? Whatever. I don’t get it, but it make sense to them.
(Also, sorry if my post seems scrambled, it’s late where I live)

They said it was going to be like Legion. Before BFA even launched.
If it was like Legion we’d be flying in just a few more days. Most of us could fly by the end of April.

And I’m not far behind, having started at 1.6. Times do evolve and change, but catering to individualism in a social-by-nature game doesn’t feel like the best answer here.
Same here. Primarly I don’t at all like the way to game pushes everyone to endgame to spam the same handful of tired dungeon maps across N difficulties.

No. Honestly, this game currently has far bigger problems than flying. Pathfinder 2 is probably going to be short anyways.
Yeah but 7.2 was out now… I don’t see 8.2 out right now. Therefore, it ain’t the same.

I didn’t say same exact carbon copy. I said “like”. Sorta how in the QnA they said it would be “similar”. And it would “follow a similar formula”.
The formula is obviously X.2 = flying.
Like in Legion.

I’m already done due to lack of rewards. Flying might have helped but eh, flying to no rewards isn’t much of an improvement. Still have a bit of time left but haven’t been on in over a month.

I dunno how it feels, but people should be able to play however they want. If your way of playing is not taken away, then you should not try and take away other people’s way of playing.

I don’t care about flying. I care that the game has gone downhill in EVERY other regard… It would be easier to list exclusions than examples at this point.

Players will never be able how to play however they want in any game. Ever. It has never occurred in WoW’s history. It will never occur in WoW’s future.
What you mean is “I should be able to fly whenever I want”.

Except not once have I advocated for not enabling flying again. I’m fine with it being added back as long as it’s added after the masses are completely done with the expansion’s primary landmasses.

Sheesh what are you the specific police or something? What I mean, E.B. White is that within the confines of the programming people have their ideas of fun and should be able to play those ways. In other words, when they add something to the game, like flying, they should not take away running. And since there is flying AND running, it’s wrong to go around saying flying should be removed when you can still choose to run, if running is your idea of fun.

Well then they failed utterly. I’m auto-piloting outdoor content starting about a week into the expansion, flying or no flying. Maybe an extra day or two this expansion due to god-awful ilvl scaling.
Flying just improves the process a great deal and Blizzard is just being petty and spiteful gating it for months.

Well, sire, I am sooo very happy you deign it permissible to fly after the masses have finished whatever you feel is the expansions primary landmasses. I, for one, finished them back in September. Therefore, I should have been able to fly on all 32 of my BfA level toons since, um… September.
Oh god, I see the narcissist and the specific police both typing something to me…
