I’ve never really understood what people are expecting to get when they whisper someone after an arena, bg, dungeon telling them how much they suck. Like what do they think i’ll be like "man you’re right i do suck! i’ll just stop playing this game so i can’t inconvenience you anymore! thanks for the feedback

In a civilized discussion, you would never say “you’re trash. Quit.” That’s not how mature people interact. If someone makes a mistake, you acknowledge it and explain why it was wrong.

Blizzard could stand to be more heavy-handed in their punishments in general.
Playing 8 hours a week and having less than 1000 post on a 18 year old forum is terminally online?

Here is my take on this.
Igore them. That will stop the whispers.
Report them if you feel it needs it.
What would I do? I’d laugh at them via whisper and move on. Unless they are being racist, disgustingly nasty then I’d ignore it to be honest.
Their whole motive is to get you mad and really worked up. These are the tools of bullies and those who are unhappy with their own life…they want people who are also miserable to join them.

Try being less condescending when I can easily find a definition from google that says, “to annoy persistently.” Whispering someone one time, “ur bad” isn’t persistent.

A single insult isn’t harassment, and that appears to be what you are describing here.
There needs to be some level of repetitiveness for an insult to reach the threshold of harassment.

Before you say “thats ridiculous” (which is unwanted and offensive to me :P)… I have seen worse.
I have been suspended from every single forum I have ever participated in. Instagram, Hearthstone, Warcraft, banned from Imgur (lol) and you have NO IDEA the criteria they use for their punishments.
So don’t tell me people wouldn’t get banned for ridiculous things.
Anything can be defined as “unwanted behavior”.
