And again, with Alleria they could have ported out of there. So, with or without Jaina they would have not died. Not to mention plot armor would not let them die no more then it would have let the Alliance capture Sylvanas at that point.

He is right that, feats wise, Alleria would be able to teleport people away, while narratively it was not what the developers wanted in the plot.
For example- there’s no source of where the Vindicaar was, for the entirety of BfA, or why it didn’t just shoot at Sylvannas. By feats, yes, Alleria would have saved them. By narrative, no. The difference should be acknowledged, cause its a matter of the narrative having consistency issues.

3:19 it’s not just a portal Jaina casts it’s a mage bubble. they would have died from the blight if Jaina didn’t act as fast as she did. she casts a magic bubble and an a mass teleport simultaniously. which takes a alot of talent and skill.
You could speculate that Anduin could cast a bubble and Alleria could have made a portal. Anduin may not have survived a void portal, he could have died as a light wielder. There’s no way to prop Alleria over Jaina in this situation. regardless Sylvanas lured them into a successful trap and it Jaina was not there, it’s possilbe that the Alliance would have failed and even lost thier king.
Because Jaina was there and her portals are better. But without her she could still make her own.
We’re not talking about what alleria is capable of. We’re talking about the facts, i.e what ACTUALLY took place. Not what Zerde WANTS to take palace

No but that’s the problem- if the plot doesn’t align with what she’s capable of, it makes the plot inconsistent.
And Anduin could have made his own bubble, just like Calia, that allow them to survive long enough to have Alleria make her own portal. Again, Jaina just happen to have both component Anduin/Alleria could bring to the table.
We are literally speculating about what would happen if Jaina was not there. I am not sure you are even following. Especially considering Renautus seems dead set on assuming the Alliance would have rolled over without Jaina.

Turalyon almost died and they only reason why he didn’t was because he was lightforged.
Either way you lose in this scenario. If they scraped out of there barely alive, Sylvanas’ trap still worked, her plan was successful.
She won this fight.
Jaina evened the playing field.
Could have, should have, may have, I want to have….
Again, it’s irrelevant to what actually happened. Simple fact is, Jaina doesn’t open the portal, they all die.
He’s pointing out that everything Jaina did to save them, other characters could. If anything, Alleria as an elf and a ranger would, logically, have the superior reaction time. It’s not about what DID happen- it’s that, by logic of assuming relative consistency, we know those characters would have simply used their abilities to survive without Jaina.

And yet Turalyon did not die. Which means a trip though said portal would likely not kill them, especially considering unlike Turaylon they are not infused in the light the same way he is.

This is also 100% true- as a Lightforged, his body reacts way more to void stuff than anyone else, it’s why he feels pain when he and Alleria touch.

and yet even with her amazing hearing Alleria was alerted to danger and did nothing in the cinematic.
She hears the falling of small debris and doesn’t warn anyone or do anything to stop the trap from springing.
Alleria got caught in the trap as much as everyone else.
