“Me and my spec(s), god were so bad but as a skillful arena player i make it work. Whew”
You dont kite being blown up in a stun with no trinket, or your healer being CC chained which is what defensives are for, so boomys just die
precisely.
barkskin…
Boomy
then probably after that
Boomy
i can’t help but think you’re trolling every time you say warrior defensives are top tier… lol. you need to stop it
Definitely fury and arms warriors lol
Thats a full 2 minutes to undo 1 melee swing lol
dh darkness is prob the worst in the game
i cant tell u how many times ive nuked a DH standing in ther cute little puddle of purple
Objectively balance druid, and anyone saying otherwise is being willfully ignorant.
Lies!
It’s insane if you don’t think warrior is a super tanky spec.
Play 50 games on boomy and tell me what you think is tankier, dude.
I’m leveling a KT boomie because I have too many nelves, stay tuned for beefy gameplay.
Boomkin is a Damage Tamp-on Extra Strength that soaks up all the damage and just dies to air it’s beyond stupid
that’s not comparable… warrior doesnt have a no cd spammable hard CC… or isnt a caster… and cant shift roots. You can’t be “tanky” and have that toolkit lol.
For what warrior is and its role comparatively… its defenses are trash.
I have played games as boomkin and I am not good at kiting as a caster, so it was rough, I will give you that.
Dude. As the ONLY class that can really be kited, you can recognize that other classes like dk, ret are fully ranged. You can recognize that ww and dh have enough mobility to connect permanently. You can recognize that enhance shaman can do half its damage from range and rogues have steps to pair with every kidney and a chains of ice that auto applies on attacks so they can always connect on their damage.
While I agree that different classes are different, the entirety of this post is about the squishiest class, and boomy is undeniably and unequivocally the squishiest class AND the easiest class to kill. That’s not to say it can’t do things to stay alive, but despite all those things and everything in its kit, it is still far squishier than every other class; warrior included.
Sure, the classes that do are paladin, mage, and warlock, and realistically how often do you ever see those classes spamming those abilities? And they all have better defensives, self healing, and mobility than moonkin.
How effective do you really think shifting roots is in a world where they instantly reapply slows and mobility is as high as it is, coupled with a damage pattern where ~35% of your damage is hard casted along with your hard cc that is your “mandatory” defensive?
This is just nuts to me. I played like 60 games on warrior yesterday and think I only died in 2 of them?
I played (all arms) ret/war, war/frost mage, war/demo, war/bm, and TSG. I wasn’t being ignored in any of the matches and the majority of games were around the 2k mmr range.
If I press defensive stance outside of comossus smash windows when I’m being attacked and use my leap defensively or line when I have to then I feel like I literally cannot die.
The only melee that would ever outheal me is ret paladin and even then I never died despite having a weaker defensive (not sure he ever bopped or LoH’d me) because of how insane defensive stance is.
I agree that different classes and kits are different so they’re not directly comparable. For example, sp and lock NEED to be tanky because of their limited offensive mobility which requires them to push up to be able to play effectively. However, you cannot look at moonkin with its entire kit and priest with its entire kit, or even the opposite end of the caster spectrum lime mage with its entire kit and go, "yeah, boomy is comparable to those ".
I’d say DH, don’t forget about us! lol
This you’re correct
you can’t reason with warrior players. they play the eternal victim class.
Warriors aren’t happy until they can run at you unimpeded and unburdened by any positional requirements from others on their team until you fall over from pure dmg. no required cc, or anything else. Hell, there’s a warrior in this very thread complaining about how bad ignore pain feels to press… is that not insane? it’s such a good button…
anyways, yea… don’t bother, homie. It’s going to fall on deaf ears.
Ignore pain is terrible for arms.
It gives you about a 400k shield on an 11 second cooldown, so it’s not something to be used in an “oh crap” moment. By the time you get to press it again 1 player gets to use 7 GCDs.
Its not something that stacks easy either, you literally have to press it exactly when it comes off cooldown or the shield drops, but that is the only way it becomes substantial, pressing it every 11 seconds on the dot.
Its okay for mitigating pad damage like a rend or something.
