I thought it was 64 debuff slots. Then again that might be wotlk lol. Ahhhhh memories! The brain ain’t what it used to be
We aim for efficiency. So no, we do not use any Moonkins, Protection Paladins, Retribution Paladins or anything that is way below the standard classes that can do a much better job at said task. We do however use bears to offtank and we sometimes bring 1-2 DPS warriors. Not because we need them for the DPS they provide, but for the buffs they give to our DPS. Overall it’s more efficient. Guilds that go with Protection Paladins and Moonkins will not do as well as the ones that bring an optimal raid setup. This is a fact.
Shadow priest is looking pretty weak this time around, assuming shorter fights than in 2007. Wouldn’t +1 “real” dps outweigh the impact of Shadow Weaving in most comps? idk
Plus short range and high threat gen and self-damage. Seems meh.
Elemental shaman 100%. Not only are you the coveted shaman, elemental actually does decent dps and it’ll be easy to gear.
Shadow destro lock and mages are boring 1 button classes.
Affliction lock, shadow priest, and boomkin have pretty fun rotations
Just make a warlock like every other mong out there. You know you want to.
Don’t be fooled by the hubbub, mage is still good, and REALLY damn good in PVP also. Mage can be 100% competitive in TBC with the correct setup and gear.
As opposed to that garbage classic warrior who knows nothing.
?
Planning to play Spriest myself. I find the rotation the most engaging and if needed I can drop form and toss some heals. It isn’t going to be for everyone since you aren’t going to be lighting up the damage meter as an spriest, but it’s honest work.
As opposed to garbage retail players like yourself that never actually played TBC and won’t last more than 5 months into the expansion?
It’s pretty cringe that y’all get all your info from streamers that also never played TBC and are practicing for a 13-14 year old game on endless(lol)
Ah yes, I did not clear everything in TbC up to Felmyst while it was current. Nope never did that so I have no idea how TbC works lol. Stay on your classic server thanks. Also good idea hiding your profile.
I will my classic server turns into TBC, I’ll have no problem staying on my classic server
You can stay on your dead retail game where every cringe zoomer retail player feels the need to come here and pretend they were some multi-glad that actually cleared through any part of Sunwell Plateu. The amount of bold faced lying is hilarious.
I enjoy and miss my TBC druid so I think they are pretty fun. Loved the flexibility of boomkins and bear tank was also a fun thing to play when I wanted to mix it up. Could even get to feel somewhat comfortable with feral cat for you since you played rogue but different enough to change it.
Spriests would probably be my second suggestion. Was fun, useful, and strong. if you are ever interested in healing, they are great too as well as in PVP.
Ele shamans are really useful and I feel may be underplayed. Bloodlust was great in TBC and highly desired. Totems too, but honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of messing with totems, still was kinda fun as a spec overall, but I think with us doing 2.4.3 Ele shamans may not be as strong or fun? Could be wrong.
I was never a fan of warlocks nor their playstyle in raids, I feel like the only thing I was jealous of with warlocks was how great their tier sets looked. T6 wings were always cool.
I wasn’t huge on Mage for PVE in TBC but I also never cared for arena’s, but if you loved PVE with a mix of PVP, mages are cool. Since your post asks what’s fun in PVE, probably wouldn’t go with either warlocks or mages there. Hunters and warlocks were the most boring for PVE iirc , at least rotation wise. I enjoyed my hunter alt back in tbc.
Thats a lot of buzz words for a coward who hides his profile lol
Warlocks and priests for real.
Another reason that I missed above for priest, super easy to gear. Most of your BiS up into tier 6 is tailoring stuff (frozen shadowweave replaced by 4pc tier 6, necklace off karazhan trash up into BT). Only need 7ish percent hit since you get so much from talents, and once you get hit capped it’s spellpower to the moon.
This sounds like a pretty weak cope for a bold faced liar
Ele actually pumps in t4.
And 3 hit 3 crit totem is amazing. And if goat 1 more hit for the party.
That group can gem however they want
I got no horse in this race, but you are kinda hiding.
I main moonkin in classic and will continue in TBC. Screaming trees are back!
To the op, everyone in tbc will be playing hunter, warlock, or mage, and few will run shadow priests, and fewer still moonkins. Imo the choices is obvious but I’m biased.
