I killed boss on Heroic and Mythic prior to season 4 without getting an upgrade item, is it a bug ?

you killed sylvanas 1 time 14 days ago on mythic so that was not fated or in season 2
And i killed her on Heroic when ?
oh sorry 3 times heroic to you should have gotten a token if you actually did get the bow. seen plenty of hunters recieve the upgrade token with season when they had the 233 bow so.
Except it wasnāt 100% drop chance.
And you only got token mailed to you if you looted the bow on heroic.

So either everyone is lying, or itās not a 100% drop chance and you were just getting lucky.

again if the thing can be bought at the vendor killing the boss should just drop it but no worries next week the thing will be upgraded and done with and ill be sitting with a new shiny bow to use for the rest of the patch. This fun season is a joke wait 3 weeks to do a raid with realistically only 2 boss a attempt every 3 weeks to upgrade it so yep vendor route. and hell yeah i got luck 1st try heroic bam done. not like ill be able to use till its upgraded to heroic with a 294 weapon already.
Same as every other weapon that people want to loot.
Plus it is a better because you can actually guarantee getting it after 3 weeks. Compared to s2 when you could kill boss for 3-4 weeks w/o getting it.
The only people this is somewhat unfair towards, are the people who never looted sylv bow before, but they can just buy a regular raid weapon.
i mean the getting the bow is luck regardless but ive seen plenty of people complain about not getting the bow and never actually put in the time to do it. example 1 dude in my guild gave up after 3 tries and left the game because of it. with how they set it up logically makes more sense to be here you go have fun. that is the whole point to this season and the raid vendors anyways. not like the bow is breaking the game or doing anything terrible. we get wailling arrow in DF as a talent choice . they got half the problem solved by increasing the drop rate for people people who dont have it and the weapon token should just be a given.
I guess they donāt want a 100% drop rate on a legendary weapon.
Again, other weapons donāt work that way, so I donāt know why our bow would.
its a legendary not an epic or atleast was till it was butched this season
Kill on H tonight and zero Hunters got any item or bow tonight. Fated Kill 1 any bow knowledge 0

Killed Sylvanas XX times on Normalā¦ Got Cape. No Bow Killed Sylvanas X times on Heroic got Bow on 5th maybe 6th kill. Yay lucky me Got it with old reduced 0.02% drop rate.
Fast forward to Fatedā¦ Kill Sylvanas again Only 1 try in 3 weeks on Heroic. No Upgrade drop No Bow drop No Dagger drop, Too bad guess neither are lucky! As drop Rate is NOT 100% for anyone.

No Definitive Blue post saying what the actual new drop rate percentage is.
Like I said required to get LUCKY Twice.
If they improved the drop rate it wasnāt by much. I killed Sylv 4x this week so far with many hunters in all groups and not a single drop
This is my worry, that something is not working as intended with the drop of the bow or the items. This might be a mulligan week, as Iāve not seen one in game at all yet.

*Rogue buys 285 dagger from vendor, Hunter buys upgrade for 285 bow from vendor.
Rogue spends heroic/mythic tokens to upgrade 285 dagger.
Hunter spends heroic/mythic tokes to upgrade 285 bow.
Same exact thing if you looted it before s4.

The Cartel Dinar can be used to upgrade Fated Items to 285 as well as past Versions of Raeāshalare
However there has been no BLUE post stating That the Cosmic Creation Impetus from combining 20 Heroic/Mythic Confounding Ancient Cypher Will Upgrade a Legendary to a Heroic level. If you know of one Link it.
As of all I have read The only way to Upgrade the Bow to heroic or Mythic is to have the Upgrade Item drop when looting Sylvanas.
It is NOT the same exact thing as you stated.
On ptr it made the item āFatedā and all of them are eligible for upgrade.
But as you said, we will see next week.
Killed Sylvanas on normal difficulty tonight in a pug. 6 Hunters in the raid, I got the normal 285 bow drop. None of the other hunters got a drop. Will try to pug a Heroic before Tuesday to see if I can get the upgrade token in the same week or if Iāll be fishing for it until the end of the expansion.
Iāve also got the crossbow from Streets at 298ilvl. Simād it against the 285 Leggo, and it was a 428 dps difference. Figured Iād add that info so people could get an idea of the value of the bow even at 285ilvl.
