I love how elitism has basically become do the bare MINIMUM in a videogame. Its kinda sad do that so many players really believe themselves incapable or are so anti social they cant even run 1 normal raid a week for 3 weeks to get the mount.
Definitely. I was actually thinking about staying on for three weeks to try out Fated LFR, but now the literal only incentive for S4 reasonably available for me is gone.
I honestly wonder how much “cat carries” are going to go for, given that we don’t know how difficult Normal will be tuned, and given the quantity of bosses required over multiple weeks. It will probably be cheaper during the final weeks when all three fated raids are available, but that is going to be a lengthy carry.

Do you know what “minimum” means?
LFR would count as the minimum amount of raid in the subset of “any raid”.

.That’s a bad take imo. Especially for people with with bad schedules. At least with raid finder you can do it 3 bosses at a time.
Anyway I said my piece. I encourage blizzard to be more inclusive and open it to lfr. I was actually excited to have a reason to do lfr in season 4. Now it’s just waiting for weeks that the fated rates are on that I may do transmog runs on alts.
This mount already requires you to raid for 3 separate weeks.

Sorry but you can’t really complain about an achievement that hadn’t been released yet being changed. That how things go with test cycles.

And not just that. the French version has the same thing, it is ANY mode(I suspect if one were to check the other languages it would be the same). So they wrote this and told all their translators this is how it should specifically be worded.

Thing is, we have “Normal or higher” templating already. Glory achievements all say Normal or higher. If they intended on the Fated achieves be normal or higher, just template it from Glory achieves instead of having it say “on any difficulty”.
At this point, we need a definitive stance, and the reason for it.

I was mentioning that these events that you posted were added to BMAH eventually, not that’s an excuse for it not being on LFR, I want it on LFR for the event now on S4 and then the reward on some way like BMAH for future players.
Oh that makes more sense. Yea the bmah is also sort of skewed to people who can be online when those auctions finish. Which on my server is roughly at night. So like if you work during that time you can’t really get anything on the bmah either.
while you are right, you have to consider the track record. yes, they said any and should not have said “any” if they didn’t mean it. but looking back at their history (MoP cloak, WoD ring esp as they were limited rewards, but also Legion weapon skins), at no point was i ever expecting this to be in LFR. without even looking at the achievement i never guessed it would be in LFR.
it’s unfortunate, it’s misleading, i agree w all of that. but based on their track record, no one should be surprised by this.

You could get the MoP and WoD items to make a legendary from LFR.
