Honestly LFR is more of a challenge than normal sometimes. It should still be for LFR as well though.
I really agree and feel terrible that Blizz is taking this away from people with crazy schedules and use LFR as a way to cope.
All I know is seeing this blue post was like a vacuum sucking all the desire out of playing WoW today. If they let this stand without a further response all weekend I’m going to at least know that nothing has truly changed and all the hopium people have been huffing about them listening has been just that and not a sign of any true changes.
This feels downright spiteful at this point.

Due to the wording in the achievement it was generally assumed that the Slime Cat mount would be available from doing Fated LFR too.
This is what you get for assuming it would be for LFR in the first place.

not at all. i don’t really care either way. but it seems weird to just state that as a fact
It is about effort. But that also just means some people will not get this mount that could if they did lfr.
Like if you play at night you will see less groups. Or if you are a new person, you may get kicked before you even finish the whole raid in a pug group. (With how bad this community can be). Making raiding something new people don’t want to do.
Lfr lets you also do a raid one wing at a time. Sometimes you just don’t feel like playing through the whole raid in one session. Something you will have to do if you pug. Or queue for multiple groups to get all the bosses killed.
At least lfr you can that there without getting denied or if you have an awkward schedule.
Most of the season 4 is targeted at premade groups and it doesn’t feel so inclusive imo. When past rewards like the molten core mount could be done with everyone.

i’d understand these complaints if it was like, heroic or mythic but cmon, getting your panties in a bunch over a normal difficulty mount? I coulda sworn these forums have spent the last bajillion years saying how they’d totally love to grind for cosmetics no matter how challenging and then you see stuff like this.

LFR dosent let you do anything cause you arent actually raiding. Its more like a tour of the content.
yeah this. these things are rarely in LFR. mount DROPS, yes, but things like lego chain quests and achievements have always been N or higher. i’d say the crazy ppl are the ones who expected this to be in LFR.
It’s different than glory achieves. Why are you being so fn dense?

Yeah, you’re right. We definitely shouldn’t have gone by the precedent they’ve set for the last almost 14 years or anything. That would make sense.

I think blizzard agrees with you sadly. I don’t get why why even have lfr anymore if we can’t have good things. Like a very casual way to get a mount.
The Memories of Azeroth raid is a three winged timewalking-esque raid. These three wings will be available through raid finder, and will feature three iconic bosses each from Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm. These raid wings require a minimum of 380 item level to participate.
Players who complete all three wings will receive the achievement 
Memories of Fel, Frost and Fire which grants the 
Obsidian Worldbreaker, a Black Dragonflight mount inspired by Deathwing. Completing 
How Things “Really” Happened… also rewards 500x 
Timewarped Badge. Each raid will also drop item level 350 versions of each bosses raid loot.
You have access to How Things “Really” Happened… after completing A Timely Invitation.
After you accept the quest just talk with Chromie to get in line for the raid. Chromie is located in Caverns of Time /way 53,48, 54,62

Yeah, it’s a crazy assumption for people to use the standard definition of the word “any” from the achievement in the live game.

Elitist people will ALWAYS defend their sickening stance about rewards being locked behind NORMAL FLIPPING NORMAL when in fact it should’ve been on ANY DIFFICULTY. This move was WRONG on blizzards part.

I honestly didn’t even know about this achievement and mount, but I don’t put any time into raiding anymore, so I guess this one isn’t meant for me. It’s too much commitment when you’re working night shift and the guild expects you to wake up at your 4am to attend.
And these mounts are still in game via BMAH, Hopefully Slime Saber will be on the BMAH for new players that aren’t playing right now.
