I mean it’s dead now and I don’t expect folks to do LFR for gear that’ll be replaced in a m0. Which is easier to coordinate and do then LFR.

I do not know what you are talking about. But yea not a fan of using the premade group finder and miss just queueing for content for decent gear.
It’s already a seasonal reward that’s going away. Making people use the group finder to just do that achievement is irritating and basically ignoring lfr and not including it with “any difficulty” is basically saying you don’t care about those players.

Because they could end up just wasting their time waiting to get into a group, especially if they are a non-meta dps. Or perhaps they are not geared enough to qualify for a higher raid and they don’t have time to run M+ forever with the hopes of getting some gear.

Yea you will also be competing with everyone in the game for a raid spot. If you pug. Vs lfr no one is denied.
I view the slimecat like the corehound. It was lfr and fine since it was time-limited. Or the anniversary mounts.

I honestly wouldn’t even mind if I weren’t led this entire time to believe it would also be available in lfr. I don’t complain about the time limited gladiator mounts.
But this? Nah, no thanks. It’ll be nice if they change their minds on this, but we’ll see.

Did they add fated mechanics to lfr? Yes? Then they didn’t ignore it. It’s always been if you want better rewards you do higher difficulty. They could have put the mount mythic only then only the 1% would have gotten to get it. The only person to blame if you don’t get it is yourself because you don’t wanna click a join group a couple extra times because we all know that’s what this is really about, effort.
A the weekly forum meltdown this should be fun.
And what about people who simply aren’t great at the game? Or people with crappy ilvl who just do outdoor and lfr content?
You may not like the casual crowd, but they do exist. What is their motivation to do fated lfr if they’re told they don’t deserve a reward?

Like you never see CE players coming here and trashing LFR players for wanting a fun cosmetic at the end of the expansion. It’s always these subpar elitist-wannabes who don’t understand how mediocre they themselves are.

Im as casual as can be and if you cant actually just do a normal for a mount im not sure you even deserve the damm thing.
Who freaking cares about “deserved”. This should have been a fun thing to add to WoW during one of the arguably worst expansions at the end of its life cycle. Something to get people to actually do the raid and maybe even come back and now Blizzard decide to not bother telling anyone until the last moment that this mount cant be obtained in LFR.

That’s not what that says at all.
It’s saying the new Normal(as in the difficulty) is 278 Fated. LFR is 265 Fated. How else would it suddenly be rewarding 265 gear?
LFR is part of the Fated raid system in S4. The 3 Achievement required for the slime cat meta all say, as of right now, “on any difficulty while XYZ is a fated raid”
So they either let the achievement stand for months with incorrect wording or decided at the last minute to pull the reward from LFR.

What’s the deal with this last-minute change?
Do we really need to yank more things away from the average Joe/Jane/Xane?
If you have the patience to deal with LFR, why shouldn’t you be rewarded?
