horde seemed to be dominant ever since i started playing which was back in wotlk.

Horde has no advantage now with regard to racials.
Anyway seeing the faction balance in Classic , it’s obvious that players don’t want to play alliance . Nothing to do with racials or anything .

Man, you guys sure forget how quickly Blizzard changed the Troll racial to something useless over it finally being useful for one tier after a decade of being useless.

Agreed, the issue is that the racial imbalance started it, and since it didnt swing the other way around people stayed in the horde, which lead to more and more people moving to the horde because most competitive people are there.
Now people simply tell everyone to join the horde because you got more people to do content with and there’s literally 0 reason to roll alliance.
Before things would alternate between factions dominating, since legion it has been horde dominating and the longer the dont do anything the worse it ll get

You’d have better luck trying to communicate with a stone wall. At least that would have more reason than this self absorbed, entitled man child who wants everything his way or else things aren’t fair.

Seeing the Classic faction balance , it’s obvious that at this point of time , Alliance are plainly the unpopular faction . Vanilla used to have more alliance than horde but it’s inverted now 15 years later .
Trust me, I’ve spent far too long in these forums dealing with “b-but muh Horde bias!”, so this is nothing new, so I’m well aware.
Again, you guys have, as per the API, 2,040,054 Alliance players at 120.
You have competitive racials.
Gather those that want to get content done.
Imbalance over.

Seems like it’s a player-created problem. What underlying mechanic, system, or design philosophy would you attribute to this “faction imbalance?”
So, it is a user-created problem, then? If Alliance isn’t mechanically at a disadvantage compared to the Horde, then maybe Alliance players should stop telling each other to just “go play Horde?”

Basically as laid out … they want a broken racial for alliance to force a population shift.

And to my knowledge. Mechagnomes Racials are BUSTED beyond anything the Horde has ever been given, all wrapped up into one race.
With, again to my understanding which might at this time be incorrect as I haven’t looked into it recently, no signs of being nerfed.

That’s definitely not the best way. Breaking the game in the opposite direction is not how you be a game dev.
You do realize that a player created problem is still a problem right?
If devs did nothing to fix player created problems the game would be even more utterly unabalnced, why do you think they give rewards albeit weak for alliance to join warmode.

The onus is on the creator of the problem to actually fix the problem. Unbalanced racials can be fixed because that’s a developer-created problem. A player created problem needs to be fixed by the players. The developers aren’t going to break the game in order to force people back onto the blue faction if that’s not where they want to be.

This in particular. The defeatist attitutde and the fact that many seem to be sitting there, twiddling their thumbs while expecting blizzard to hand them things it’s annoying to watch and I imagine that from the perspective of Alliance players that do want to get things done must be downright frustrating.

Uh yea…Zandalari Regeneration racial would like to have a word with all the tears shed from the Alliance which could amount to filling an entire ocean.
