Can’t force players to play on a less popular faction. No matter what they offer it won’t be enough. People who want to raid and pvp will play where they can find groups easier.

The last part is where the truth lies. Horde players don’t wanna see any change, they wanna see the Horde dominating everything, and this seems also to be Blizzard devs mindset since they’re not allowing any form of Cross faction play and at the same time are doing nothing to fix the problem.

Big difference, this was done in live realms not only for tournaments. All those players you see in the MDI are actually horde players, they just switch to alliance for the MDI.
And tbh not only high tier guilds like Method or Midwinter went to the horde, a lot of lower tier guilds switched just copying what the top ones did.

so? It still propagates down to live servers that the fact if you want an advantage in m+ you go alliance. Its literally the same thing.
I finally read up on guilds and joined a fabulous alliance guild. It makes me happy to log on now. That said…
Giving Vulpera to horde is a huge blizzard mistake, unless they want Three factions.
Mechagnomes as an option is just plain stupid other than the OP racials that could get a few takers. Gnomes were never that popular to begin with.
Almost everyone that started playing during BC to present that I know, refuse to even touch alliance. It’s really just a pack mentality assisted by sorority good looks.
I’ve pretty much decided to focus on alliance now, since I played the underdog as much as possible. My first 60 was a vanilla Orc. My first 70 was a BElf, but now have 8 classes alliance and 4 Horde and want to abandon horde except for experiencing the horde story and playing a bit with family members that won’t touch alliance.
I’m looking forward to shadowlands and enjoying BFA immensely as the imbalance doesn’t currently affect me since I joined this guild.

Except even the pros you see in live servers, they play horde. And tbh the advantange right now for faction switching just for Mythic+ is not worth it by the simple fact horde still has most of the high end players.
So you have easier entrance not only to Mythic+, but to Raiding and PvP too.

After Shadowland’s announcement, I felt like Blizzard thinks Battle for Azeroth performed amazingly well and they didn’t need to change anything or add nothing more other than just new zones, dungeons, and raids… 
What more could they do though? They are already giving alliance 20%+ buffs each week + free 420 or 430 gear via AOO (forget what ilvl it awards). I feel like blizz waited too long to try to do something to fix it. It’s way past the point of fixing. I don’t even think high elves could turn the tide at this point.
The thing is you are picking without reading the full conversation.
My point is that switching right now from Horde to Alliance for Mythic+ is not worth it, tbh the advantage aint as big as it was for switching Alliance to Horde back in the Cata or MoP.
Even Jdotb has said in previous WoWhead Q&A that even tho Shadowmeld is the best racial for Mythic+, he would still take a 5 ilvl plus over it.
And is not an opinion tbh, when you can see that live realm Mythic+ is dominated by the horde.
