When are you going to stop allowing multiboxxing?

People always think its MB stuffing the AH, its not. Multiboxers actually help stabalise the economy because put it this way, if it wasnt for multiboxers youd be paying 500 gold per anchor weed not the 75-100 gold per weed that was steady for most of BFA. But wether its one single player, or an 8 man box team hitting a node, it will disappear a few seconds after its been hit wether its tapped or not.

Its the end of the xpack and theres alot of profession changes coming through and changes to the vendor price for crafted items as well - thats why youve seen a massive tank in the markets and an over supply. because people, guilds, individuals, farmers are all dumping unwanted stock on the AH to get what they can for it. Its junk now and worth nothing.
Who you should be blaming are the newbie goblins and people trying to get that last minute brutosaur. They dont understand the LIFO system and that you dont need to massively undercut something to sell it. Especially with tmog, like atm its not worth selling a 20k tmog for 500 gold. I’l bank it till SHadowlands settles. But the last few months of any xpack is always trash for making gold, in contrast, I often make enough gold as a solo farmer to last the entire xpack in the first few months of a new launch.

At what point is enough, enough. Just limit the amount of boxing to 3. Boxers are even jumping into bgs to cheese the honor level grind and become a hindrance when they decide to go afk and you can’t get enough people to afk kick them because they are taking up 5 slots and you have to individually kick each one, so stupid.

someday brother… someday in the future we’ll see these tyrants banned

But you can.

I mean…you’re right lol

see…this is way to do it. Find a market with better potential. Some older stuff pays decent towards raw gold. Even if you left with nothing you wanted or is really good you have the gold from soulbounds and such.

AOE caps and squish is affecting older raids looks like with loot. Soon you can’t just walk around and pull in crazy large mobs and go pop. Just 1 pop. And loot. Some BOE’s will sell better real soon. As it will be more work.

From what ive seen thats only because the scaling isnt in place, once your maxed out at 60 then all previous content from legion down should be easymode to farm again, same with the drops it should switch from personal to legacy again. It happened like that with bfa or WOD, one of them for a bit then it got hotfixed to work again. But yeah the AOE cap is going to make things interesting for speed runs

Multiboxers aren’t bots. Third party programs are not forbidden. Wow will not even work without a third party program called “Windows”.

There is a significant spawn time between herb spawns. I see you have a very strong opinion but zero knowledge about how gathering works. That goes hand in had with the fact that you only came to the forum to bump this post. It sounds like you’re botting the forums.

I have ten active accounts, 8 of them are upgraded to Shadowlands. I have paid less money for my subs and expansions in the last handful of years than you have in the last month for one account.

You’ll notice that their time to ban is far far too slow to actually lose money. It’s a symbiotic relationship at this point.

Bot starts farming. Hits break even in less than a week. Blizzard bans after about a month, so 3 weeks of profit on top of what they needed to replace the account.

Bot gets a benefit, blizzard gets another sold copy of the game.

Blizzards tissue paper tier excuse is that if they ban bots too fast, they’ll catch on, and get harder to ban!

When the only actual solution is to get the action time down to below their break even.

No, you wouldn’t, if they’d ban undercut scans entirely.

TSM, combined with multiboxing super saturating materials markets has made for one of the most cancerous AH environments in years.

The sheer volume being pushed on the AH far exceeds demand, so only some people ar going to get to sell. I have a bridge to sell you, if you think it’s going to be the random who can only post every few hours, versus the multiboxer with one account camping the AH at all hours, spamming cancel scans.

The only tool left for normal players is to crash the market below whatever they have their TSM minimums set to.

I mean sure. I solo farm and multibox on occasion, tho its easier to just solo farm most things. And Ive never once had an issue getting sales and I dont bother sitting an alt account at the AH doing cancel scans. My stuff still sells within an hour if its materials. Its not hard to make gold in wow for anyone. But crashing the markets only harms yourself. Any of the big boy goblins will just buy out your cheap junk and reset the market to make a profit.
The volume of things right this minute is just what happens at the end of an xpack. People are dumping stock in prep for the new materials. The markets will rebalance in a couple months, they always do. As someone thats played since BC, it hasnt really changed all that much.

So how come they never crash the economy at the beginning of an expansion?

^I can’t wait to see the response to this.

I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I’m going to keep my hopes up. Deep down I know there won’t be a reply though. :frowning:

That would require the seller to pay you to take the item.

So you recognize that the entirety of your argument is that multiboxers prevent you from price-gouging.

Bot farmers don’t buy accounts, and they don’t pay for anything. They use accounts and credit cards stolen from the chuckleheads that purchase their illicit services.

Blizzard doesn’t make any money off them. In fact, it costs Blizzard money to recover those accounts and undo all the nasty things the thieves do with them and to them.

do you even know what automation means? You pressing one button and sending command to 1 character is your direct control, the other 7 characters copying that one action at the same time through a program is the definition of automation.

You guys always get in disagreements about automation but there’s acceptable and unacceptable automation. If I open a vendor all my grays get vendored automatically, if I talk to a repair vendor my armor gets repair automatically, Leatrix Plus has a setting to autoclick “yes” so you don’t have to when you go to cancel a cinematic, there’s another addon that clicks yes everywhere so you never have to, there’s lots of automation in the game that lots of players make use of daily.

In regards to multiboxing automation Blizz says

Is it sending an identical signal to all client windows or switching between them to send commands? Not automation.

Is it playing the game for you, or rather, for one of your client windows? Automation.

and

Is not automation by our standards.
