That’s 4 different people competing, not 1 person. Do you not see the difference there? Would it be okay if 1 person just got 4 times the resources as you for the same node just because they spend more money on the game? They make 4 times the gold as you?

LOL you tell me that I don’t know how it works… if someone is TWO boxing, sure, they might be manually controlled. Some guy flying his entire group of druids around and herbing the exact same node the exact second? HE IS CHEATING. Go ahead and call it fake news if you like. You’re wrong.

Cheating
You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.
some buyers are OCD completionists. I am kind of and have bought some older mats just to get that max level done. So long as the price was decent enough I said meh…I’ll buy it and not farm it.
Wrath was the exception for rock. Those prices when I was really into this were god awful. So that now levels slow as I farm this only when bored. Or on Monday and Tuesday as at that I point I am waiting for raid resets to fail yet again at a few mounts.

WoD will be making 10-50 items. Same as others. Hit up the mines and gardens across a few chars if the need(s) arise. If I reroll again I have horde and alliance maxed crafters for a few skills. And the plants and rocks to make stuff once several chars a server pick and mail to the crafter.
Yeah, and they have defined the use of third party programs that do exactly what these multibox farmers do as cheating.

The botting is as simple as following and mimicking the lead box, but it’s still botting.

Whoever it was that said people were doing it with a KVM, you’re lawyering. There might be ONE guy doing it that way, but there is no way in hell that he’s 5+ boxing the multi herb setup that way. It’s nowhere near as seamless as the simple software cheese and one PC running a bunch of VMs.

What is the difference between 8 characters controlled by 8 different people… and 8 characters controlled by one person?
If you really want to get technical 8 players controlling 8 characters will crash the market faster due to under cutting.

Multiboxing lets your keyboard send a command to each WoW client instead of just the one in focus.
That means that every character is directly under the control of the player and no automation is occurring.
Stop spreading lies about something you don’t understand.

This is probably what they are seeing now even.
Since I just have no desire to max BFA crafting I have been pushing cheap mats to clean out my storage that built up.
Many people seem to do this. Sell this now before the release possibly really tanks the BFA market. Unlike older expacs higher level crafing truly needs dungeon/raid mats.
BFA Mats that with squish will not be really farmable till like 9.3 probably. I am not getting a good vibe from beta reports on old raid spam anyway.
With BFA raid/dungeon attendance dropping once the SL ones hit…selling bfa mats does a crafter no good when they don’t have the time/desire to farm BFA raid/dungeon for that final needed item.
Since I have no issues, financially or ego wise, paying for a sub I can drop these cheap. I just want that easy gold. 1000 gold right now versus playing AH pirce wars to get 2000 or more? I’ll take the 1000. Better than in worst case 3 months from now I just make 500.

yep.
YOu just need to not be picky about your graphics. When I boxed in eve I just a had decent powered box (for the time) run several clients in what I called 8 bit mode. Turn off all nice features and crank the graphics down.
Side note of I boxed because I had to. When you are moving your carrier carrying all your expensive stuff…if you want something done right do it yourself. Main in the carrier, alt(s) at the various points I was going to jump too.
If alt number 3 suddenly saw a system jump up in the local population…time for plan B. Jumping into a hot system to die like a muppet never a good thing.

I play on “1” with some adjustments and cap my FPS at 30 for the foreground client and 20 for background clients. Not a big deal to me since that’s how I played solo as well lol.
I have a better question when are people gonna quit complaining about it because Blizz is never gonna ban it.
