Automation is when you get up from the computer, take a break, and come back to find your characters still playing.
That’s botting.
Key-cloning, where one keypress sends a signal to multiple windows, is not automation.
When you are multiboxing and you get up, your characters stop playing.

Nothing is being copied. A single input is being sent to multiple instances of the client.
Kinda like hooking up a DVD player to multiple screens. Nothing is being copied, the signal is just being sent to several screens at once.

And, yes, it is sad. You say grasping at straws, but that’s what you do each time you make a post. Boxing is an advantage ANYONE can have in the game. An advantage that is equal to forming a group. Blizzard has stated this in the past, it’s been posted many times.
No one here is “grasping” to “keep” anything. Players with a chip on their shoulder, like yourself, are the poor saps grasping to understand something that others have known about and understood for years. Your sad attempts to paint a different picture keep falling flat.
I mean, look at the recent change to stand still farms (which neither Blizz, nor boxing software makers fully condone). The dozen or so of you railed against those farms all summer long, then what change was made? Was boxing removed? Was it crippled?
Nope. They reduced the loot table and made the areas inefficient for ANYONE to farm. Well done. What’s next on your hate-filled agenda?

How so? Most multi boxers spend far less money than you do.

Not really. Getting 7 other friends to group to do content is no different than one person playing 8 accounts.

Not jealous or disgusted, just pointing out that this game favors those who spend more $ on it, giving an unfair advantage. This includes WoW tokens, since they allow buying carries you can essentially complete all endgame content buying tokens with real $ then buying carries, no different than multiboxing, buying an advantage.
