When are you going to stop allowing multiboxxing?

By chance, you’re not a copywriter, are you? Maybe sitting next to a guy that goes by the name of Adrot?

Maybe? But having an eye on it would instantly identify them even easier than a bot.

Probably technical, since I have yet to see a recent MB ban of note.

Both. They don’t support any software that they aren’t responsible for creating. On the tech support side, it should be fairly obvious why. On the policy side, if they support something that someone else made, then the creator alters it in such a way that it violates the rules, it creates a perceived loophole wherein a user can be sanctioned for using software that was previously harmless (in other words, “but you said I was allowed to use it!!!”)

They would have to announce they don’t allow it before they could start banning people.

Well, no, they can ban you for eating a pineapple pizza if they wanted to.

No, they can’t. So, feel free to eat your pizza!

totally fine. doesn’t mean it’s correct. There are also lots of examples which use multi-boxer, which is respects the general rules.

In the end, it’s a made up word. I’m not going to say someone else is wrong for saying multiboxing, but if some turd gobbler wants to say i’m wrong for using multiboxxer, I’ll argue otherwise.

I started multiboxing because I hit the character cap  You can see me in here crying about it back in november lol Could we increase the 50 character cap limit?

I don’t have to come up with anything special because no one has shown me any evidence of any economic downturn due to multiboxing. I can just sit here and say “it doesn’t happen, where is your proof” all day long.

This won’t happen, new launch prices will be high and any intelligent person will flip them if they get low. Then eventually we’ll get to 9.4 (or 9.3 :open_mouth: ) and prices will tank again and then you guys will be back here talking about the economy was destroyed again

I love multi boxing, some people don’t understand that botting is when the player is not ATK the majority of boxers are ATK because that is the fun having a small army and Mobs that can mow you down get 1-shotted

I’ve played almost every day since 1.1, and I have seen 3 multiboxers in that time. This is the epitome of mountain out of molehill.

Sometimes the truth hurts, I know. Cry and whine for the last 14 years hasn’t and won’t ever work. Give it up already…you’re going to have to rip off AH shoppers another way. Multiboxers make materials cheap for the masses, GO GO Multiboxers !!!

never probably because they are making money off the accounts people have to create. it does screw up economy especially with gathering nodes for flasks and stuff which is pretty dumb tbh.

The demand is very high at the beginning of an expansion. Also they haven’t figured out the places and routes to farm the new items yet, and the botters don’t have their programs written yet.

And that takes until mid-expansion to figure out?

LOL! All you did was support my argument. They are NOT PLAYING the accounts. They are using software, whether it is on a KVM or on the cloud or on a local PC in a VM.

I would still like fries with that.

That’s strange I seem to be playing my accounts. If I press a button stuff happens, if I don’t press buttons nothing happens. Seems to be playing to me.

I would like to thank all the multiboxers for keeping AH prices from being overinflated by price gouging botter farmers.

You don’t know how this works. lol

Boxing requires human input the whole time. Botting doesn’t require any input besides turning the computer on. Carry on though, please. Part of the reason I come to the forum is because of things like this.

Everyone is using software to play WoW. Everyone is using third party software that copies keystrokes. The drivers and software that are used by the os to interact with the wow client are all third party.
