Not to be pedantic, but you’re wrong.

We say boxer because of multiboxer.
Now they’ll say we are ruining grammer too!
no. you’re wrong.
it’s multibox. That is the word in it’s shortest form. Adding the ER at the end changes that. That’s why you have a the double consonant.
multiboxxer.
If anything, you could split it like multi-boxing or multi-boxer.
You don’t have to think…He was exploiting the other day in pvp using the technique he learned from Rextroy. Since this was already a know exploit he should be banned for duplicating it.
Merriam-Webster and OED disagree.
Muhammad Ali was a boxer. There is no such word as ‘boxxer’.
I even provided links. So, at this point, you’re just willfully wrong.
Because the root word is box. multibox.
The links don’t matter as they have nothing to do with the word. I just asked my copy writer who is sitting right by me. The guy has a degree in this. Gonna take his opinion over yours.
If you want to be correct, then you can spell it mulit-boxing or multi-boxer. It’s basically a made up word, but if we respect general rules, which I already gave you, it would have two x’s.
Your copywriter friend should return his degree. And maybe buy a dictionary. You’re both wrong, but I respect your right to be.
leave it to GD.
guy wants to wants to argue about the rules of a made up word.
People are aware they tolerate it now, they want Blizzard to change their stance.
It is because these spammed threads don’t have any content.
Then quit making up words. Stick to the ones that, you know, actually appear in the English language.
Does your copywriter friend have access to the internet? Have him look it up.
Boxing is a sport. Boxxing isn’t a word.
Mike Tyson was a boxer. Boxxer isn’t a word.
Kickboxing is also a sport. Kickboxxing isn’t a word.
Giorgio Petrosyan is a kickboxer. Kickboxxer isn’t a word.
Boxing Day is a hoilday. You guessed it… Boxxing Day isn’t a thing.
If you have one box and I give you another, you have two boxes. Boxxes isn’t a word.
Let me know if this is getting through.
You know we have a real issue at hand when GrammarMazi show up !

Sometimes reading people who have very poor grammar makes one’s head hurt. Especially if you have to read it 2-3 times to understand what they said because it’s so broken. Not too common but it happens.
Not likely. There’s really no way to differentiate a multi boxer from a group of players on the same network, as long as they use legit means to do so. If bots are involved then Warden will likely catch it, but legit multiboxers won’t risk their accounts.
When they stop liking money.
This is really important to me, I’ve had my rogue since Vanilla and I’d hate to get banned for cheating.
If Blizzard ever want to ban multiboxing they have to do it BEFORE we pre-order an expansion. AND it has to be done at a start of a new expansion. We would need a heads-up. Not just start banning people all of a sudden.
I would never risk my main account.
firstly, nice ad hominem, and thank you for using it, it lets us know you have no real argument worthh hearing. second, people keeps saying this, but it makes NO sense. the vast majority just gather and sell for the price the popup suggests. but hey, we can get rid of tsm too while we are at it.
almost like the multiboxxers have come up with a quip that almost sounds good to try to control the narrative.
remember, when prices still suck on the mega servers come sl, and the AH is just flooded with basic mats, everyone will remember these threads and with luck boxxers will be the hunted.
I’m not educated in that subject just yet, so I’ll take your word for it being hard to detect without false-positives. Still, it would be much easier to spot at a glance than a bot. There’s other ways to handle it.
People have valid reasons to think it’s bad for the the game, don’t think it’s an unreasonable request, despite being unlikely.
There is no narrative and no valid complaints.
I’ve often wondered if Blizzard’s stance was more because of difficulty of enforcement rather than being fine with it.
Also, when they say they “don’t support multiboxing tools” in their support article, does that mean from a technical perspective or a policy perspective? Was confused by that.
There was the “Wall of No” that was posted every time people brought up Vanilla servers. Now we have Classic.
If it matters, Blizzard refers to it with one X in all of their support articles.
