I know I’m going to get flamed by people who do not think we need more then 50 but honestly I believe we do. This game has been around for years, I really feel I’m getting close to cap limit because I keep making allied races and yeah I don’t use everyone. I still do not believe we should need to delete anyone.
Why can’t we just add them to the store? I mean then its our choice if we want them and our cash? I know Ian basically said no one goes over 50 but I find that tough to believe. I really think we need more.

You can have more with a second account.
Just curious, are all 40-something of your characters at least level 100 or they all level 20 to 40?

You would be surprised how many people actually want a cap increase for various reasons, im not at that point yet but im sure i will be soon. I have characters that i started with friends and have sentimental value to me and i have my wifes old charaters on here before she made her own account as well that i dont want to delete.

I can not fathom 50 characters that mean something to me. My OCD would be the death of me, I shutter at the thought.

People go over 50 a lot but those people have realized there already is a money option - another account. Having another account really just works great for so many things in this game.

I’m also someone who would want more than 50 character slots, but the reason is because of what’s presented, not so much what I have.
I have 15 capped characters. Soon to be 16. In these times of content droughts (you get AOTC, you get duelist, you do your 10’s, that’s pretty much it for someone like me), I like to level alts. I have about 42 characters, some low, some around 100+. But the reason is because of the AR’s. I want to experience all of them, and I already have my roster of characters prior to that. Of my 15 capped characters, only two of them are AR’s, and both of them non-boosted.
If we are to believe we’re heading into a really alt friendly expansion next round with all of these AR’s and brand new customization options, etc, etc, I think the cap should go up as well. Not by much. Maybe just five or ten. But that’s just me.
I’m also an RP’er, so when a concept hits, I have to make the character and write up a backstory, though that’s something I can delete later if it doesn’t take.

I have a few characters left over from vanilla I don’t want to delete and several name slot characters and 23 horde and alliance characters soon to be max level and I’ve reached so I fully support getting more slots. I’m not gonna create another account that’s ridiculous.
Is it OK to delete old characters that achieved titles like “grunt” and such or are they character bound?

I don’t understand having multiples of the same class outside of one on each faction.
I know a woman who at the end of Legion had 42 capped toons.

I love to make alts, my kids make toons, but I am dead set on only playing one of each class, because even that many just takes too much time away from RL. My daughter’s each have maybe 3 toons each they are interested in.
I do have 2 accounts and each has 50, but I could easily delete 10 from each account without heartburn. But if I only had one account, I would definitely be full. But I still think 50 is plenty.

I got a second account. I love my alts. Working at getting all of them on the first account into the 110’s the second account can wait. Honestly it’s more convenient to have two accounts. I don’t think I could handle three full accounts of characters though, two is enough.

Ehhh I have five more then I’m probably done until a new race and/or class is added.
I’m going to level a vulpera and Mechagnome Hunter for the heritage armor, two more Hunters to have every Horde race as that class, and a new DK to experience leveling in 9.0.
This, having leveled all the classes on alliance for the mage tower challenges, I am now faced with a situation where playing an AR of a repeat class on alliance feels like I am Sisyphus. Highest AR is a level 45 LFD ret and it just feels empty.

Everyone is different.
I personally would like an increase, simply because with the allied races and other possible allied races coming, I’ll need the room.
I don’t play for end game, I play for leveling, I like leveling characters and I don’t delete any when they get high level, ever.
Nothing wrong with have multiple characters of the same race or class either. A panda monk looks different from a Z troll monk, so I like both. I like monks, but in my head I’m playing different characters, who cares if the class is the same, even same spec.
I have 4 and will eventually have 5 hunters, all BM, all different pets, theme to the hunter.
3 warriors, currently all fury.
I’m not stressing the cap, but I know I’ll hit it eventually, so an increase would be nice.
I’ll not be able to afford a second account, so that’s not happening.

Back when the cap was 90, I was maxed on characters. But I only have 1 120. The rest are stuck in Garrison hell.

honestly i have 6 120s and a bunch of 110s. 2 are my mains and i gear and do everything on them. Everybody plays different and even if i had 50 level 20s what would it matter?
i do have 2 accounts, 1 i never use. if it came to it id pay to move an unused alt to it but i dont understand why we need to do this and have 2. i dont want to pay a sub for a 2nd account. I dont need it and cant justify having 2. Just as id put off moving a non used alt to it ro free up spaces.
